I like paddle tail swimbaits and squarebill crankbaits in my river in Sept. For top water a popper or a choppo. T rigged craw patterns or a wacky rig can also catch them on laydowns. Thanks for the tips.
What's the advantage to throwing the spoon on a moderate rod? I think I don't use moderate rods enough cause in my mind I want to bury the hook with something stiffer. What's the thought process? Excellent video as usual
So you hear a lot on the big flutter spoon and type of rod. Can be preference. I have thrown it last two years on anything from 7’8-7’10 heavy to xtra heavy fast. Now I am testing the 7’10 MH moderate out because it gives the fish more when they are fighting / jumping to where the heavy may pull it out. I know a few other spoon guys use it. So I am testing it. Thinking of it like a glide bait or big 10xd type of fight
@@CharlesSandoval-x4u Nice! I have been t-rigging the Yum Christie craws and Zoom Ultravibe Speed Craws in green pumpkin and green pumpkin blue flash lately along with a Zoom finesse worm rigged shakey head on a buckeye spot remover in green pumpkin. Works great on laydowns. I been also using an underspin paddle tail with good success for bass chasing bait!
2007 Basscat Pantera 2. I have had it for 5 years. Been a great boat! With me guiding it can be too small but we make it work. It has had a LOT of fish caught in it 😁
