7:57 If someone is applying for an extension from within Canada, why would they have to choose Yes. If you check the designated countries/territories list Canada is not mentioned, India is. In case someone stays in India or any other mentioned countries/territories for more than 6 months at the time of application, they should enter Yes and get a medical test from that country. I am saying this because I extended mine from within Canada by selecting No as I didnt stayed in any designated country/territory for more than 6 months. It makes sense for a new study permit but not for an extension imo. Let me know if I am missing something.

@@manishacontractor6505 I think everything is for 1 year. Tuition+ Room and board. And show that u have the available source of funds. In my case I had a fully funded M.Sc and then PhD so my university offer letter was the only proof I had to show.

I think if you are in canada. You don’t need to give any biometrics for study permit extension. So if you are applying for extension of study permit- for living in designated county question, answer should be NO.

Classes start on 9 jan 2023 and end on 31 october2023 after completing it for which intake i can apply and also tell me can i work for full time between the waiting period after 31 october 2023

It's for my son who is already in Canada. His first year course is going to complete by the end of December this year. So he needs to extend the study permit for next year with a course starting in May 2023.
1) Letter of Acceptance: is it the one received from the college against the course he is going to take next year?
2) Means of financial support: Currently he has active GIC account. So is it necessary to show 10k CAD again for the second year too?
3) Medical exam: is this the existing one or he will have to get it done again?

In place of LOA, you can submit the enrolment letter.
Financial Proof could be the Gic or the recent bank statements, having enough funds to pay the next semester's fees and expenses and which should be around 8k-10k$ depending on the college fees.
Medical is required if it is older than 12 months.
How much funds required to show except tution fees ?? 8k to10k would be enough to show as a funds bcz we already paid the fees to clg or university ? Pls let me know anyone ????
