- If using the 3D printer is like riding a bicycle, using a CNC machine feels like trying to pilot a plane. It’s incredibly complicated, detailed, and intimidating… but it doesn’t need to be.

Taig chucker lathe works great. Less than $5k.
Looks promising... can't wait to see it in action.
Looks good!
Very promesing for mobile and small shops, and hobbyist. INSANE!!
I would love this machine to make my aluminum and brass chess board pieces. But I still need a full size milling machine to make the 24"x24" board...
its a kickstarter , the last one like this ( swissmak) stole all the investors money and walked away with 187,000 dollars and delivered zero units. I hope this doesnt end up the same
Aluminum bed, too weak.
If I had the spare cash, I'd consider getting one but, not until after the second or maybe third iteration was released.
Why? Generally speaking, it takes two or three iterations to work out all of the bugs that the designers missed in their rush to get their wares to market.
Buying the first ones that are manufactured means that you're sort of like a guinea pig buyer whose complaints are used to make improvements.
Still, it's a nice compact little package. With any luck they will be worry free right out the gate.
would like to see manual analog knobbs for controlling rapid and feed rates.......
YES
Not sure you mean analog as opposed to rotary encoders
Yeah, but is the aluminum aerospace grade?
It smol
It's very difficult to bring out a quality product at an affordable cost for a new start-up in this niche. Hobbyists would be the main market and their spending power is fairly limited as the premium 3D printer market has proven. The other big market would be schools but they tend to go with established manufacturers. A small business would need something a bit more substantial and capable to be honest.
I would buy a small Denford CNC lathe if I were in the market for something like this. It's tried , tested and available off the shelf from an established manufacturer and support, spares etc wouldn't be an issue.
언제 팔아요??
"Full package" for 6550$ "special price" for 4800$. Definitelly not for hobbyist...
I think it doesnt cut stainless
Will it do rigid tapping in 301 stainless.
My dog will chew the shit out of that controller!! N will be ok if your making rc cars or small drones etc pred cool
Zero clearance 😂
🤣🤣🤣
I'm a machinist I wouldn't give 500.00 2 teensy all that can make is a volume knob. Complete waste of money 💰.
What machine would you recommend that has all or nearly all the same functionality and footprint? Thanks
Are you kidding it's a slat bed lathe. A duh I have two way older then the guys there
Cost under 3k
And learn from manual don't jump it will aid in your maching. Some times it's way faster. Over time. I know I beat a Moro seki 2500 lathe
100 part run if you can not even turn one don't cnc or crash and have fun I know I am a cnc mechinc. Learn manual first
You know what’s good about “bulky cnc lathes”? They’re bulky for a reason. More rigidity. Save your money build your own cnc lathe, retrofit a Chinese 17x4. Buy your own proper cnc lathe. Anything looks better than this (what probably will be) overpriced piece of junk
Or just buy a used manual lathe for the same price. Yes, it needs the space, but still, you could do some useful machinig.
Could be a nice precision machine but looks more like a chinesium toy with no real use, whatsoever.
Just over 4 grands? You must be kidding.... useless as for me
This is a terrible idea 😂 Don't buy this.
Why do you say that?
absolutely agree
this is pease of shit
@@LokiTrismegistusBecause he is right.
Price will be insane in comparison with productivity. Its like 3D printers - everybody bought it, and now, 95% users do not know what to do with it.
Not everyone is an engineer to find use for this, but there is a small catch - engineers already have their ways how to manufacture their stuff, in a much better way than this toy.
But yes, its very nice, simple and good design. Good job.
@@pipthepip2299You don't have to be an engineer to have use of this time of machine. It has the same use as a 3d printer but goes even further
@59Mrgamer Please read my comment again - you are just confirmed what I am saying ;-)
And no, you need to be a some kind of engineer, because otherwise you will end up like with 3D printers - have no use for this. But this time it will cost you much much more.
