    This is interesting because many instructors will tell you that your body or weight is moving forward before your backswing is complete. Also, most instructors teach that your right hip should start off the wall and move back into it (Tiger actually goes deeper in the downswing). Are you saying that is not what happens or should happen? I am open to this concept, but I need clarity in this. Thank you.

      Your body still moves first, he was just not allowing enough time for the arms to complete their arc.

      Still the shift-turn rhythm remains as one of the key principles. Most golfers rush into downswing using the arms and that is what I try to get rid of.
