they're very different games. both making words with cards, but PB is a very abstract deckbuilder ala dominion, while adventures is a much more thematic romp. so i wouldn't say that because you like one you should get the other, unless you REALLY REALLY like word games :)
I just got Paperback Adventures, but haven't played yet. Should I get this version of the game, too??
