Supercars have ridiculous licensing requirements for drivers. But 'under exceptional circumstances, in its sole discretion, Supercars may approve the entry of a driver based on his/her international or historic Supercars racing achievements'. So it COULD happen.

I was in Chicago on Tuesday the 2nd. I wasn't there for the race so other than seeing the bleachers and the barriers I didn't see any racing. But I tell you what, I have never seen so many people in my entire life. Glad NASCAR runs at least one street race a year.

Last year Kyle said that he was watching SVGs race craft to see what he could learn. I wonder if Austin Hill took some notes on how to race cleanly and respectfully. What I did notice is that AH freaked out when he saw SVG in his mirrors and lost 3 places. lol. I honestly hope he can get over it one day, but it means he is going to have to take a couple of steps up the maturity ladder. SVG wouldn't want him scarred for life either. Hill gives the finger, SVG gives the thumbs up, for a good battle, I hope they shared a beer and swapped notes after the race.
Custer being penalized is bs. If yellow is out and you’re on the track you maintain pace car speed, and when you put you maintain pit speed. I’m not a ford guy or a Custer or an SHR guy but penalizing a guy for that is, to quote who I think was Benny parsons “it’s like hanging a guy for shoplifting’”

I get your point though, I just remember the Supercars doing the Yas Marina trip a while back and how the V8s even managed to make that track slightly exciting. But mostly I'd like to see a cooperative weekend between the 2 series - NASCAR exhibition essentially supporting the V8s and maybe a return trip for the V8s at COTA or somewhere NASCAR would like to give a little international promotion.

SVG vs Larson was as good as vettel vs alonso back in the day, just enough space to not wreck, side by side action for laps, absolutely amazing
