Oh common.... Stop with this crap regarding defense play and slow snail blades. Pure defense is dead with a 40mm ball at any level of play. In these circumstances, a slow blade will just help you build "bad habits" faster. If you want to play defense, that is OK, but opt in rather for Modern defense or at least for defensive style with a FH block incorporated. For this, you need spinny equipment with high control and a large sweet spot. Go for a slower offensive blade like Stiga Arctic wood / Donic extension AC or carbon blades like Nittaku acoustic carbon and combine them to defensive rubbers of your liking. P.S. Don't use inverted pimples on a carbon blade.
