Simulator Description;
IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad is a World War II combat flight simulator released in 2013. A combined effort of 1C Company, the publisher of IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover, and 777 Studios, developers of Rise of Flight, it inherits the name IL-2 Sturmovik from the IL-2 Sturmovik franchise series (2001-2011) and is included now "IL-2 Great Battles" in the general series although it runs the DirectX 9 Rise of Flight game engine, known as Digital Nature and originally created in 2009. This new entity is making the first IL-2 game since the original developer, Maddox Games, was dissolved by 1C. BF109, HE-111, Bf 109F-4

I love this game however I wish the planes would leave more evidence of destroyed fuselage and debris with smoke and fire and a longer period time to enjoy the carnage before the mission ends. Like in IL-2 Rise of Flight.

Does this game have aircraft such as Spitfires, P-51Ds, Corsairs, Zeros, Ki-43 Otsus, etc? All I am seeing is Germany vs USSR here. When Britain, USA, and/or Japanese aircraft come in, let me know. If there already are some aircraft from either of those countries, then I must have missed them in this video, or they're not here at all.
IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad... The name of the game is not American or British, is it?
In the game's current form, it has one lend-lease american aircraft, the P-40, and one Italian aircraft, the Macchi 202. In the upcoming expansion, the Warsaw Pact has the Spitfire Vb, P-39L-1, and A-20. The Spitfire is being released in less than a month, and at the end of 2017, after the release of the aforementioned upcoming expansion (Battle of Kuban, a famous battle in the Caucasus), work of the Battle of Midway is being started. Midway is in the Pacific Ocean, and involved the USN and the IJN, and aircraft carriers. If you want that, a good way to making sure it happens is buying previous expansions, even if they don't have all of the same familiar aircraft you're wanting, sometimes trying NEW things isn't the end of the world.
You know, you could play something *other* than the same old western allied faction, it was called WORLD War Two for a reason.
