Yeah, Renton has bad crimes now you’re not safe there anymore. You should be able not to lock your door. You can’t do that anymore. People drag racing down the street into broken into people getting shot.

Yes, some areas of Renton are affected by issues you've mentioned. However, I don't think thats the case across the while area of Renton, which is very big. The street races have been around forever (I actually remember them taking place every weekend, over 10 years ago - sounds like they still are an issue). That's mainly down the hospital hill, close to 167, etc. Many residential areas of Renton are excellent though, and it's a great area to call home.

Don't move to Renton unless you like crimes and the homeless scene.

I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment... but I would disagree. Renton is a great place to live, and crime/homelessness is much lower than some other areas around here in WA state.

@@dariuscincys I don't know if you live in DT Renton or not, but I do since 2014. I just got my own place since 2023 from living everywhere in DT Renton and nearby areas from streets, to bushes, inside car lots, abandoned buildings and the works. Renton TC is the hub for many who are homeless to come and go. Most are mobile, most of the time. Some stay to make sell black, clear and now blues to the expanding market of new jacks from other places as side hustles. Younger crowds are in and older ones dies out or routinely circulating around Score with their FTAs. You can have your opinion, but Renton City Council wants to paint Renton like the future Landing (right from their plans). People are invisible to you. But they see you. The dirty side of Renton are never discuss like the mouse plagues rampant all of DT Renton. Homelessness are everywhere. It will never die, only multiply.
