And if it was built, just one of these tunnels would require a very expensive/extensive ventilation system. It would also need a huge team of 24/7 maintenance and safety personnel. That's just one tunnel. And the surface under the sea floor is mostly very unstable, varying from bedrock, broken bedrock, and silt.
Is the Southworth, Fauntleroy, Vashon schedule ever going to become convenient AGAIN???? The April 10th schedule is the same. Jobs are getting tired of waiting on the state. Jobs are in jeopardy because of your inability to serve your tax paying citizens. We need a workable schedule. So tired of Vashon getting priority treatment. They are adults that chose to live on an island. They need to learn to live with that or get off the island.

Tunnels are expensive, and this terminal doesn't get enough traffic to justify it.
