We legit thought he left after 30mins of running through the map and clearing areas and LOW AND BEHOLD he chaos vestiged me to near death. I barely got out alive to estus before killing him. Such patience is deadly in invaders!
mikedynasty77 that’s why chase is so good. He waits for his moment, patience, knowledge of the game and good reaction time is key to invasions. Or you could put a million devices in your internet so you can lag, this is also a good way to win every invasion

Claymore is considered best of it's class due to range, r2 poke, stance weapon art, and infusability. Gaels, wolfknight, onyx blade probably take 2nd and tie for third(this is my take on ranking these last two). The greatsword class is pretty much the most versatile weapon class for their low stat investment, good range, damage, stamina cost, weight, and hyper armour. Greatswords in high level tournament pvp is played by JeeNine, however the greatsword is not a weapon that needs less skill to play, unlike the well known truecombo of murky handscythe of pressing two buttons endlessly. Flamberge is worse than the greatswords with r2 poke, but is a very potent greatsword due to it's higher damage at low level, and insane weapon art damage (credit to JeeNine for information on r2 poke, and other general information about greatswords). If I were to state personally things greatswords are bad at; pressuring an opponent with a curved sword or faster relies on predicting when they are going to swing a little bit so you can force a trade as the hyper armour does not start instantly, chasing down a fleeing opponent isn't good unless you have a team mate who can't hit you(reasoning behind this is the greatsword running attack has a weird attack timing compared to normal running attacks, combining the two you get a very dangerous chance of being put into a trap), one handed moveset has no hyperarmour and is the most usefull for rollcatching and attacking multiple opponents, unlike smaller weapons you can reaction roll a greatsword meaning passive players have a much easier time(I don't recommend the greatsword for passive/reactive players), and greatsword one-handed and twohanded moveset have very similar parry-timing so do not try to switch up your attacks with this; with that said greatswords are said to be an amazing defensive weapon class. A few main reasons for their defensive capabilities; greatswords 2handed do not make your character pivot during sharp turns in sprinting which is amazing for pivot backstabs and helpful for forward roll punishes, their hyper armour starts pretty early and any attack that you can predict can be traded with, they have deceptive range due to how far your character steps forward with the r2 poke(this can also be used to space wiff punishes, I learned this from JeeNine's video). I personally find greatswords lacking against ultras and daggers, ultras negate greatswords hyper armour advantage and any damage advantage(stance weapon art r2 can be used to trade sometimes, not recommended), and daggers are too fast to keep properly spaced out nor is it easy to prediction trade with an upclose dagger.
Beat my first gank chase style the other day. Took em out one phantom at a time till I was alone with the host. You have inspired me to not give up on dark souls pvp and to spank those ganks to ruin their days. :D
Shields have their weapon art, which you need for parrying mostly in PvP, now you can parry with bare hands ONLY if you don't have a weapon equipped, if you L2 bare handed with a weapon you will do the weapon art even if you are 1 handing it

Dark Souls should be played as if you don't have friends your first play through. Pick up the weapons and armor as you go and not have them handed to you. Advice from friends would be fine to be given however.

Talk to the dude above the thrones in the firelink shrine. Use all of the cracked red eyes he gives you, talk to him again to get a key to fight a darkwraith in the highwall of lothric. Boom you got the red eye.
Chase cracks me the fuck up, his entire playstyle is looking for backstabs and when he's not doing that he's throwing out R1s 90% of the time and then talks shit about people using R1s 🤣🤣🤣
@@kubus6295 a good rule of thumb is to keep your weapon level 10% of your soul level (i.g. +3 weapon at soul level 30) and there are more active areas depending on the soul level, found lots of invasions in crucifixion woods at soul level 25 with a +2 weapon Also the game will "remember" if you had a +6 or whatever weapon so if you accidently overlevel a weapon the game will remember that even if you get rid of it meaning you may to bump up your soul level accordingly (this doesn't apply if you're past soul level 100 and using +10 weapons but that should be obvious)
Invasions literally suck in this game. Doesn’t matter how much u grind. If the person ur invading has a friend..... then you’ve lost. It’s all about who has a partner or not at this point in the game. People will be cowards and start summoning instead of fighting

how do you get so many of the same weapon? not like general droped weapons but like the astora great sword (same with misc items that you get only once per playthrough like the siegbrau)? he has 5 of them in his inventory (at 5:07 for example) but you only get 1 each playthrough and i highly doubt he went to any NG+, so is it just a matter of making multiple new characters and playing up to the point of getting it and transfering them all to one character? and whats the point of having multiple of the same weapon on you at once? its not like youre gonna use them all at once

But why only fight bad people? Over and over again? I wish you would do some more challeging videoes, I'm starting to get a bit bored of seeing all TH-camrs gank spanking bad player again and again and again. Why do you never invade in Pontiff 125-145 and destroy ganks with experienced players?
I have tons of vids at 125 man. I just dont invade pontiff on pc at 120-140 because its hacker central. Most of the time the normal skilled players are fine but the sweat squad hosts curse dagger kill you or crash ur game when u kill all their phantoms. Its not worth it
I'm currently invading in the Arch dragon area and literally every single invasion is a gank lead by the sorriest sad sack of a host you've ever seen. Literally just walking around turtled up behind a Great shield while the summon/s do ALL of the work and clear the area. WHY BUY A GAME JUST TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE PLAY IT FOR YOU? Oh, AND OF COURSE THEY SPAM THE DRY FINGER TO FORCEFULLY SUMMON BLUES.. god i hate blues..and I hate a-team..B-team was much better at making dark souls
People weapon swap all the time. Lately I've been running into the RKSS weapon art cancel. It brings so much pressure and it's all about abusing an exploit. This is Darksouls in 2019... Imagine who'll be left playing in 2020.
