Aur 2010 tak Ahmedabad baad me dekh gaya tha.. us k baad to Pata nahi kaha chale gaye aur koi koi Ye locomotive railway station k Bahar Show me Laga Diya Gaya hai.... Jab ye Locomotive Passenger train ko Hold karta tha tab Ye Bich me Jod kar chalaya karte the . 5 coach Age aur 5 coach pichhe. Is tarah se Chalaya karte the .. Bahut Most Laga raha tha ye Locomotive dekhne....❤❤

We used to get reservation in S1 most of the times, which used to be infront, toh kai baar dekha hain. ❤
You are right. I have stayed at Shakur basti ( ssb) there were multiple numbers of these powerful wds series of shunting locos. They were engaged for shunting and marshalling the btpn tanker wagons to the mainline track from iocl and BPCLs oil terminals. Both of which are closed now..

That movie was shot in Bengaluru City station, and Bengaluru or SWR used to be a desiel paradise. Most of the engines of shunting those days were given on rent to bollywood bcoz they cannot affect the regular use.
In Lko this loco used to haul shuttle service from RDSO crossing (near manak nagar rly stn. ) to charbagh loco workshop with halts at langra fatak and Alambagh C&W workshop. Fir jb ye shuttle service band ho gai to papa ko cycle pe loco workshop chorne jata tha
I can relate, the sound and looks were a little absurd 😅. I used to love Alco's a lot then it used to be WAM/WAP series, in Bengaluru that time electric engines were not so much operational, it used to be a kind of desire to watch and love WAM/ WAP 4 while travelling to North. Great childhood nostalgia. Those days will never comeback.
