I loved his story about how one of Otto's actual close friends came to see him in at his trailer and hugged him and said "That's my friend!" I honestly got a little teary-eyed from hearing that.
This is the first interview I've come around with one of the cast members from Anne Frank: The Whole Story. Does anyone know if there exists more with maybe Hannah, Brenda Blethyn or Lily Taylor?
Love him in his roles Otto Frank and ithzak Stern. He is One of the best actors but in Schindlers List he was'nt Alone liam neeson and Special Ralph Fiennes alias Amon Göth were Perfect in theire roles!;-)
No one else could’ve played Otto in my opinion Ben is just one of the most disciplined actors I’ve ever seen but I wish there was interviews with the whole cast of the series you know Hannah who played Anne Jessica who played Margot
This is my favorite story about the holocaust, and my favorite Ben Kingsley role. It is such a powerful adaptation and gets everything right to the core. One of my favorite movies about the holocaust for sure.
Poor Anne Frank she deserved to live a long life so sad:( She died of Typhus not long before the camp was liberated. My mums father was among the men who liberated Belsen he was so shocked by what the Nazis did there I still have pictures he took to document the atrocities. He wrote later it’s a warning to us all how a cultured people in the heart of Europe for 12 years returned to barbarism.
Actually according to recent inquires it’s been established that Anne died in late February 1945 one day after her sister died their bodies were dumped in a mass grave inside the camp I can only imagine how they felt at the end of their lives and to find out that Otto was the soul survivor if it had been me I’d have been completely broken I wouldn’t wanna go on I’d wanna be with my wife and daughters forever
Most of the deaths were due to the illegal Allied starvation blockade, and aerial bombing which prevented supplies from reaching the camps. Churchill began civilian bombing.

I appreciate him so much! He is my favorite actor and I love how he played the role.
They couldn't have found a more perfect person to play Otto Frank than Ben Kingsley.

@@patriotamerican3426 He should have been prosecuted for child abuse.

Churchill began civilian bombing.
Strange, Ben Kingsley even speaks like Otto Frank.
@mebejennie25 Loved Hannah but I preferred Judy Davis myself.
