Very insightful, and I think accurate on the point of the purpose of dramatic story telling. i.e. that one of the central purposes is to allow the audience to have thoughts and feelings they would not have had, had they not seen the drama.
This guy is quite switched on. I hope we can achieve a sincere and honest understanding of what happened and perhaps more importantly, how it happened. How were so many people deceived? Why did so many simply look the other way? What are the characteristics of this deception so we can apply that to today. My fear is that people are not any different today. It's easy to be all high-and-mighty and say the Germans were inherently awful, but that simply isn't true. They were normal people who fell for a lie and did and allowed awful things.
