I am picking up my multifocals today and will give you my opinion! I hope they work well! I have a fairly high Rx with astigmatism. I currently wear progressive glasses and adapted to those with no problem. I have worn contacts in the past, but it has been many years since. I am excited to try these! We shall see!
@@RyanReflects well, I got the b&l multifocal for astigmatism ultras! And I cannot believe how sharp my vision is! I can see print about a 18 inches from my face (not bad at all!) - light readers for very close work might be necessary but my mid and far vision is awesome. I might need +.75 for very near (I have a bad habit of pulling things right up to my nose) but I think if I give it a week I can adjust. I feel like there is nothing in my eyes - they are so so comfortable! My dr. said I would have to give up some mid and far clarity if I wanted very near clarity so it makes sense to have crisper far/mid vision for driving and work. Near is still so much better right now than ever. My night vision is so much better as well. I never thought I would see like this again with contacts . I can read license plates! At night! I have astigmatism, presbyopia and a high minus rx . Nothing - not even rgp lenses would work for me like this! Computer work is clear without making the fonts bigger. I have never worn a more comfortable lense. I do most of my very near viewing on my smartphone close to bed time - and that is when I have the lenses soaking/disinfecting anyway. Day one and I love these lenses so far. I will update in about a week to let you know how the adjustment goes. Yep, this old lady is happy! I hope your patients give these a try. It is well worth it.

The 2 eye drs I have been to in the past 4 years couldn't be bothered with fitting me for contacts. But I'm guessing these might change that.

I have never wore contacts and used progressive glasses for 15 years. I just started wearing these and I immediately have good close to midrange vision. However, my far vision is a little blurry. My optometrist said there is a adaptation period that can take 2 or 3 weeks for some blurry vision to clear itself up. Is this your experience? I'm thinking I need more power to adjust my far vision. I'm very excited about the initial results but my blurry far vision would be a deal breaker for me.

Wearing contacts and then needed reading glasses was such a pain, and really defeated the purpose of contacts. I’ve just recently been fitted for these contacts and they are amazing! My expectations were great, because I’ve had trouble getting a proper correction with contacts. My initial insertion was, as I expected, not great and bordering on disappointment. However, as they settled into the proper position, they steadily improved. It took about 20 to 30 minutes, but then I was amazed at how good my correction was, even the optometrist was impressed at how good the correction was. I highly recommend these lenses.
There’s no doubt that they’re a little pricey, but I can stretch a 6 month supply into nearly a year, as I don’t wear them during high allergy season.

They're available online and at eye doctors offices nationwide.
I just got fitted with these multifocal lenses and I drawback is they are costly and monthly. I have to clean them every night because I get protein deposits? makeup? I also lost some distance vision.
Patsy Lechuga thanks for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately, there is not a daily multifocal toric at this time. Logistical, I’m not sure there will be anytime soon. Using biotrue solution is the best way to clean these lenses. Also, follow up with your eye doctor to see if they can tweak your distance vision.
So are you saying if I stopped in a b&l store more than likely my toric multifocall for astigmatism will be there?
If you received an eye exam at a practice that has B+L products, there is a good chance they'll have this fitting set.
I'm after a pair of these, but they are not available in the Dominican Republic.

I have worn for a month and honestly they suck!! It reminds me of my experience with mono vision. The best part of the contacts is about midrange. Upclose is pretty crappy. Distance isn’t that sharp. I sure hope my prescriber screwed the Rx up because thus far I hate them! I am using readers a good bit of the time. The doctor was not a fan and said she hasn’t had good luck with them. Is it me ??
I’ve had a lot of success fitting the lens. It’s worth going back for an rx check or second option.
@@RyanReflects way ahead of you doc. Saw another doctor and they were a little better. Not enough for me to say success. They have Biofinity lens coming in. I’m hoping they do me better than the B&L.

bbodinefan11 Are these as comfortable as soft contact lenses? Are they also soft contact lenses or are these a soft/hard hybrid? Do you need a special tool to remove them? Have you had any problems with them (i.e., dry eyes, difficulty removing them, etc.)? Thank you in advance for your feedback.😁🙏
Ryan Corte, OD Are these lenses soft or are they a hard/soft hybrid? How comfortable are they compared to normal soft contacts? Do you need a special tool to remove them (like with RGP lenses). My eye doctor says he stopped carrying soft/hard hybrid lenses (like “SynergEyes”) because they fit “too tightly” and his patients had difficulty removing them-and because some patients complained that the hybrids dried out patients’ eyes. I really want to try these out because I HATE wearing reading glasses. I don’t need them normally, just when I’m wearing me contacts (need contacts for distance and an astigmatism in my right eye). Tysm for your help!!☺️🙏
@@AnnetteBond yes I have had gas permeable hard lenses stuck on my eye. What a panic till I figured it out!
@@AnnetteBond yes, these B&L multifocals for astigmatism lenses are very very comfortable as well as giving me nice sharp vision. I cannot even tell I have them in. The very close vision might take some getting used to but mid and far vision are incredible. My near is clear at about 18 inches, I have always had a bad habit of pulling things close to my face in my progressive glasses - something I can stop doing now.
SquidGirl Inkvader these are soft contact lenses that correct for astigmatism and presbyopia. They’re comfortable and do not require any special tools for removal!
Thanks for info , please turn your phone horizontal before you start recording next video !! as you KNOW our eyes are next to each other HORIZONTALLY ! not on top of each other VERTICALLY !!
