Paul Stafford Cook sent me..... love your playing i"m a new fan!
One of the finest phrasing I’ve ever heard. This video made me get a matching headstock fiesta red Jaguar. ❤
And that’s me back again to this one. Lying in the sunshine, headphones on and Tobias coaxing all this music out of that Jaguar. Just heaven. 🙏
And that’s me back again as well!🙌
@@freeseguitar-np4mh Well nice to see you here Simon. We’re like a couple of stalkers 🤣
I´m back stalkin`as well......😆
your video brought me here (again!)
@@SimbosanWelcome back to the master at work.
I never thought i would work listening to a full playlist of guitar demos, no because of the guitars, but because of the extremily good playing. Such a amazing show
I can’t stop watching this. It’s a masterpiece.
Truth
You guys are a real influence! Many thanks Paul and Mr Hoffmann.
@@TheAsrgrant Thank you man, that means a lot 👍
Yup . . . no argument from over here 😀
Ditto lol
if i could play guitar like this i would never stop playing
If you never stop playing, you can play guitar like this 😉
@@r0bophoniclol well said
I love your playing. Jaguars and Jazzmasters suit you best.
This is a true musician! This playing has soul! Bravo!
Wooooowwwww, I almost can see the lazy, clam and beautiful nights on the coast of some country in South America... With that blue sky full of bright stars, the light breeze which gently gazes the hair of a beautiful woman looking at the Ocean while walking on the beach walkway... And her boyfriend accompanies her and at some point he asks for her hand as a bride-to-be...
This is when music goes beyond simple listening... And the intro is really touching...
You just played everything in the right place... Thank you for this beautiful experience Mr. Hoffmann!
You sound soo good, the guitar doesnt really matter... 👍❤❤
So proud I figured out to play the Loop Sequence . Now I have 0,1 % of the Video Content and a source to work on the rest of my life. Thank you Mr.Hoffmann .
E to A to B7 or generally I, IV, V7. Alternating bass between the root and fifth. What’s really cool is the outside playing and the ii-Vs he adds towards the end. Sounds so inspired and with so much taste in not overplaying. His phrasing is gorgeous as is the mastery of the vibrato bar 😮
A true “poet musician” with one of the 20th century’s finest inventions. This “Stradivarius Rocket ship Hot Rod” … that Leo Fender conceived. Wow !
Now thats a guy who is totally at one with the instrument. Absolutely beautiful
Mr. Hoffmann did fully show his skill and how fender Jaguar sounds when he plays.. For years this is the first time I heard this wonderful sound.
Spellbinding stuff on the first listen, or the 40th.
Brilliant! What a wonderful sound from those lovely Fender instruments. Having studied from Guthrie Trapp, I've come to understand much of what Tobias was doing. I can't play like he does, but it's fun to see the CAGED shapes come to life in such a glorious and artistic manner. Bravo!! And thank you Paul Stafford Cook for finding this gem!! 🙏
One of my favorite guitar channels for listening to while working... Absolutely amazing guitars, but wow can Tobias make them sing.
My goodness! I’m just enthralled. This was just wonderful. 👌
came here on your recommendation, Mind blown. Although - you are not as far off as you think my friend!
@@Paul-D Thanks Second Note. Cheers to you 🍻
Also came here because of you Paul. Agree...Wow....thanks for the recommendation and thanks for the playing Tobias!
@@pilchm He’s a master 😊
Thanks for bringing this gentleman to my knowledge, Paul! Your version of this was equally as enthralling!! Kudos and Bravo!! 😉👍
Ja...so ein guten Gitarristen, auf so einem tollen Instrument zu hören und sehen...danke
i’ve heard a lot of good Jags but this easily takes the cake 😮💨
This man can play
Just beautiful, inventive music. I can lose myself in this and will do again once I get a beer. Another TH-cam guitar player, Paul Stafford Cook, shares the same fascinating approach to guitar composition. The most refreshing music I have heard in a long time. Fantastic.
The first person I thought of was Paul. Amazing! 🙂
What a melodic player, wow!
That sounds glorious.
omg i actually ascended hearing the first improv
Reminds me of Willy Nelson's singing and music although it's guitar only. The timing, phrasing, and highs to lows. (What? You don't think the guitar is singing)?
It’s the middle of the night and I’ve lost count how many times I’ve listened to this over the past year, I think it’s the best improvised guitar performance I’ve ever heard❤
You should see the guild starfire demo 🎸🎸🎶🎶. Definitely makes you want one 😊
One of your best Tobias, incredible! Absolutely floored.
He's the best. I want that Jag.
@joeylandrethmusic, I came across this video quite by accident yet Tobias's guitar playing reminded me of you and thought you'd like to hear this if you haven't already. Just wonderful.
Gran guitarrista,un placer escucharlo maestro.....!!!❤
Amazing! I am going to listen to this on repeat for the next few days. Something to practice and play myself.
Been repeating it for the past hour and a half
Same here. So inspiring!

just wow!
just wow...
So beautiful...speachless
I owned a old Jaguar, but it had the mute on it ,like a sponge just harder with a area were you used your palm to push it up or down. I learned how to play Roy Buchanan music on it.
Amazing.. thank you
Bravo & greetings from South of Boston
Genius
Always wonderful playing from Tobias.

Transcendent
❤️❤️❤️ hug from Brasil 🇧🇷 my friend 🎸🎵🎶
Он нереально крут!
Beautiful… thank you Paul Stafford Cook ..
what are you using mic preamp?
Alloha .. 🎸🔊🔊
What do you call this genre/style of playing? It reminds me of a particular era, and sets a scene, but I don't know how to search for more like it.
I think Tobias is pretty much on his own with this style of playing! He did say this piece was influenced by Cuban music, specifically by Manuel Galban , there’s a great album you can check out that he made with Ry Cooder
Also Surf sounding
Subscribed because of Paul Stanfford Cook - www.youtube.com/@paulstaffordcook8799 .Great guitar work , gear sounds perfect...
Eric Johnson's brother???... 😁😁😁 Just kidding , wonderful playing
This is awesome! Keep practising and you too can be as good as Paul Stafford Cook. ;-)
He looks like a mad music professor who admires bethovens hair style
These guitars are not the prettiest, but very nice playing.
Yes. 🎸 That guitar seems to be in full working order. 🛂
