That was absolutely incredible. I’ve never seen a player like him. A mad scientist on a completely different level. This is TH-cam gold! A masterpiece. You can tell by his smile that he knows it too. Well done man, my jaw is on the floor.
The supremely talented guy reaches in and finds this Gibson guitars soul. The Gibson guitar is happy and sings its heart out for us. This is pure magic.
The patina of that guitar is beautiful!!!Right away Tobias was bringing out the warmth of those pickups with blues inspired licks then accenting its brightness with staccato picking to add lightness on top with fabulous runs. He paid testimony to that awesome guitar by bringing out the incredible tone and range of that venerable instrument by delineating it’s traditional and historic uses and taking it somewhere new as well. What a guitar and what a player! It is history giving us an amazing combo in action! Beautiful!
I give, who is this fantastic guitarist who can make a p90 sound like a humbuck,or vice versa. And it's from his brain, not a note for note copy of Hotel Califonia, or some other song that people copy on u tube for some reason, when most players learned classic rock solos years ago. This guy is centuries ahead of what I hear endlessly copied from iconic solos they play on this medium. This guy is all original, today that is quite unique. He really is like one comment, a mad scientist, and I could listen all day.He covers it all, the talented master.
This ALL came from HIS brain, that's God given as much as a Hendrix or others.Original composition is where you find real groundbreaking talent.Sure, you can play a Santana solo, where does that get you? Certainly not a record contract.Get it through your head, you are not Santana, so who cares, when millions have copied him, you are just one of a million, Not one IN a million, like Santana.I have met great guitarists who are afraid to play on a stage.Thats ok, l just don't understand what the final goal is, or if there is one.
It’s like he takes question and answer phrases to another level, each melody leading to another, something I’ve only heard in the best jazz musicians, it’s music!
Irre gut ! und damit meine ich nicht nur diese wundervoll klingende 55er Gibson, sondern auch den exelenten Gitarrero ! Ein tolles Team was da zu hören und zu sehen ist...Ganz toll !❤
Beautiful playin’ my friend! A total exercise in good taste. I’ll be looking out for more of your playing, any hints where to hear more of your music ?
Amazing. Dudes playing is insane. Touch and dynamics frickin nuts. His tone as well. Plus he knows how to use the whole guitar-all pup positions and picking front back and middle of the register…volume, tone controls. And yeah, Nice guitar too! One thing nobody doing relics has been able to replicate is the green oxide. Looks sick. Literally!
Yeah I got a couple of those down in my damp Muskie basement...😉 no but my most favorite subject is archeology a many different varieties including music equipment
Tobias is just amazing. I’m not sure about the “all original” Les Paul part, though. I’m not an expert, but in ‘55 wouldn’t it have had a single piece wraparound bridge rather than the stop tailpiece and tune-o-matic?
That was absolutely incredible. I’ve never seen a player like him. A mad scientist on a completely different level. This is TH-cam gold! A masterpiece. You can tell by his smile that he knows it too. Well done man, my jaw is on the floor.
Keen ear for the art brother!!! Hello Paul! That is how I see you. Lmao
@@robertclarkguitar Well thanks Robert 👍🙏
Takes one to know one....
@@model_number_bandThank you man, appreciated
This is insanely good. A guitar demo masquerading as a mini concert.🙃
Played well within the spirit of Les Paul. Individual style, but with the master’s clarity of technique and tone.
Holy moly
I love the way that Tobias finds rhythm and art in the madness coming from his effects.
When a player adds layers to a looper and it not turning to chaos it means he does it correctly, perfectly done!!!

That guitar sounds GREAT ! Tobias shows it off really well.

This is so good, I could listen for hours.. Tobias is a class of its own.
I love how on every vid he doesn’t use a pedalboard, just has them laid out, I think that’s cool
Incredible demonstration of a beautiful early P90 guitar love the sound and the playing is amazing by Tobias what a great artist
damn, what a player and what a guitar...
A '55, but with a Nashville bridge, no wraparound? One of those most beautiful looking and sounding guitars I've ever encountered.
Irre gut ! und damit meine ich nicht nur diese wundervoll klingende 55er Gibson, sondern auch den exelenten Gitarrero ! Ein tolles Team was da zu hören und zu sehen ist...Ganz toll !❤
The most sophisticated guitar you can ever get...!
Tobias gets the best tone ever, he’s SO good. Makes a change from the distorted bollocks we’re usually fed.
Glorious guitar and even better playing !!!
the only guitar lesson you'll ever need.
gorgeous playing and guitar
That sweetness in the first seconds of demo ! P90 is made for sensible guitar player by GOD 🙏. Awesome playing !!!!
Videos like these makes me want P90s. Mind-blowing in the safe and sound way.
Geeze man. Unreal! Like others have said. Less a demo and a more of a nice mini concert! Also, is this guy like 65 or 17?
Sounds like a Tele, like all good old Gibsons should!
Outstanding guitar playing! Oh, and a great guitar too!!
Wtf this is out of this world!!! Funky psychedelic motown grooves!
I can't imagine what the people in 1955 would have thought if they heard THAT guitar playing music such as this back then.
Boy howdy thats a nice one
Grandissimo chitarrista !!!!
Nice , very nice
Awesome tones & such neat playing, thankyou Tobias. Pair of p90s on the way!

Amazing...hands😅! Gibson also.
Gorgeous playing thx man!
this vid was played in the background and it came on autoplay. I actually thought I was listening to a vintage Tele!
Vintage goldtops look killer. great demo, as ever.
Sounds great, guitar sound good also
Gracious wow this video is "Paul " approved 😉
Beautiful playin’ my friend! A total exercise in good taste. I’ll be looking out for more of your playing, any hints where to hear more of your music ?

Fucking Good
Outstanding playing. And Jesus saves. And time is running out.
...Lost for words...the guitar's not half bad either. Love the P90's.
Trink this is a early fifties! Anyway, Tobias is such a tasteful player. Delicate.! The Schiller amongst guitar afficanadoes...
♥♥♥
Isn’t that the Cajun ? JB 55 goldtop ?

Is that amp a 2x10 or 2x12? This sounds fabulous!
It's a 1978 Deluxe Reverb. 1x12
Lespaul Extra+Terrestre 😂❤

The 54 LP had a wraparound bridge but in fall 55 Gibson started with the tuno-o-matic bridge and this is one of the first LPs with it.
диск-жокей Сергей))
Bitte keine solchen videos mehr. Anstatt selber zu spielen und zu üben höre und sehe ich stundenlang dem Typen hier zu.
And then the UFO came to abduct him
I hope they GAVE the guy this guitar after he was done the video. May the best of guitars find the best of musicians.
