Some of them. You can tell when he’s awkwardly reading a question out of sequence because Glad told him to make sure to get it in there. It’s the questions that sound exactly what Glad would ask, but it messes up the flow of the conversation, usually towards the end, because there’s not always a natural segue.

Vlad explained this on No Jumper, and even explained that the creative differences between him and Gloria Velez came down to deviating too far from the script. I think what you're observing with Shawn is that he always goes back to the sequence after a natural deviation. Regardless, Shawn doesn't bring up 1090 Jake because he doesn't like him, it's because it's part of the script.
