    Thanks for the update. I picked up a set of builder pros in six inch with the 1964 brown leather and the honey vibram sole. I can’t wait for my first pair of nicks boots. My next set might have to be a pair similar to yours. Those have an excellent patina.

    Glad I watched this. I just ordered my second pair of Nicks in 6” and was going to go with the pull loop, but after some thought I opted for no pull loop. I’ve had many different 6” boots and have never considered it necessary to have a pull loop.

    Good review. I have a pair of urban loggers on order in brown waxed flesh. I share your need for a coordinated belt. I’m funny that way even though my boots will be work and casual. I do some leather work and was thinking of a 2 tone brown waxed flesh and black CXL ranger style belt. My urban loggers will have black vibram and black kilty just for some contrast and interest.

      I beg to differ as a 34 year old, one year of them spent rehabilitating a partially severed achilles tendon from a mugger inflicted gun shot wound, followed by 15 years spent carrying granite slab countertops in and out of new and existing homes (from upstate NY to Southern Arizona) while three of those 15 were also well spent as a volunteer for my local fire department and testing and conditioning in an attempt to get hired on as paid full time. I am a working man and I never won't be. I am also type 1 diabetic. I think I know a thing or two about quality footwear. Many folks have been dealt a different deck from unique skeletal structures and bad backs to old age and obesity. Some folks need that pull loop as I said it's just not for me on a 6" tall boot. Toxic macho masculinity is something I've matured beyond in my 20's. It's never too late to try though!!! 🙌🏾

    I like the combination of natural waxed flesh - they look amazing.
    I want to get a new pair of engineers and was leaning to Wescos (I have 2 Whites Engineers a/w a variety of good lace-ups). I was thinking of a chocolate waxed flesh.
    On one of your engineer videos, you said an unstructured toe was more comfortable than a structured toe. Am I understanding that correctly & could you elaborate?
    THX

    • @NoblemansXchange
      @NoblemansXchange  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The leather is able to conform to your foot better with an unstructured toe.

    • @TerryManitoba
      @TerryManitoba 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@NoblemansXchange THX for the reply
      Do you find your toes don't have any wiggle room like you would with a structured toe?

    • @NoblemansXchange
      @NoblemansXchange  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TerryManitoba you still have a similar kind of wiggle room. A structured toe allows the leather to be a little more relaxed instead of stretching around the c-lastic toe. The slightly more relaxed leather is now more easily able to stretch in the areas of your foot along the toe box and vamp where you need it most.
