2:18 The current Top 1 ILL "Tax Evasion" uses this gimmick to create the hardest minus wave in geometry dash so infamous that the frame perfect count on 1440fps (the fps value for the level) reaches 341 frame perfects in about 10 seconds with 15cps frame perfect spam along with 80 frame perfect swifts in the midst of that to understand all this, look at Cosmo's Tax Evasion video and Letim's frame perfect counter video for Tax Evasion.

I’m creating a level and I wasn’t sure what to do. Piggyback for the win
about 7:35 ) I recommend using Move for lock to player X and Follow player Y (with speed 2 or 3). This would even work then for teleport portals 😉🤭

the portal can only activate once
yea i know you can have your own gamemodes, as long as you have an idea
of course a less object heavy and buggy way to make the split dual would be the method used in moakh, scaled 5x blocks with a 1x block placed at the corner which tricks the game into thinking the icon reaches a platform ans pushes it forward, but i guess it stillw orks

For the fat wave if you do 1.2 on the follow player y trigger it match’s with the fat slope.
OH! FAT WAVE + JETPACK MODE = FAT JACKPACK
you can also use the blue orb for the wave 8:35
The separated dual also works in 2.2, yet 2.206 has a better way

An Idea I Had Origanally was a big portal kinda like the mini portal. kinda like how the mini portal makes the wave steep, the big portal would make the wave gentle

2.2 purple orbs and pads make WAY easier to seperate the icons and put them on the same gravity

I have a problem, when I made separated dual, my level cannot be opened, how to fix it?
1:13 there's a better way to do that and it involves placing a 5x scale block and a 1x scale block in the top right corner (or bottom right corner if you're upside down). when does it break? NEVER.
Oh didn’t know that? Is it possible without scale hacks though?
@@Incidius you don't even need them. you can just add a pre-made scaled block to custom objects. you can find them in a level called sth like "scaled blocks"

Have a ufo with a bunch of breakable blocks covering the screen. Now it cant go down, unless its in reverse.
*Idea for custom gamemode:*
could u make a gamemode which works like cube on floor and like a jetpack in air?
1) place a dash orb facing up
1.5) set the dash orb to multi activate (press edit object/special, i forgot which)
2) set it to group 1
3) place a move trigger
4) set the trigger to lock to player x for 9999 seconds
profit
Yellow orb + cube= UFO
Last gamemodes: pink dash orb + wave
For The Fat Wave If You Put Speed Like 5 It Do Like You Are In 3X Speed But Traveling Slow XD

about the hold on/off blocks
is there a way to make them turn on after clicking instead of holding?
im new to the GD editor so im not sure, but it looked like in the "touch" triggers, there was a "hold" option. i assume if that's off, than it would be clicking.

for some reason the separated dual for me it works in editor but not in game

Hmm sounds like you need to move the platform above the ship. Try moving it further up?

No I don't think it needs to be at the very start but it needs 0.5x speed and a very specific sequence of blocks and h blocks (as shown in the tutorial)
