Hi! The Dynamic EQ, Multiband Compressor and stock compressor are all different tools for different tasks. You can find in depth information on the Dyn8 here: th-cam.com/video/huA9ACDOgDA/w-d-xo.html and a bunch of videos on the different compressors here: th-cam.com/channels/LadRJx_CNhGHEp-Tj-tmJA.htmlvideos Thanks! Alex
Hello Mike, You can activate your Add-on by entering the generated code after the purchase at out site. After that, you will have the MB available on your FX Rack where you can insert it on a channel or bus and adjust the Frequency and threshold of the band you wish to compress. If you need further assistance, please send a message to: support@allen-heath.com Cheers, Rafael
@@AllenandHeathUKon the sq5, if i have 8 fx. can i send more then one channel to the same fx? Let s say i want to send 2 vocals to one fx engine that has an dyn eq on it. Thx
@@daviddinca488yes you can, but keep in mind, your Vox will be sent to that one Fx with the same Fx settings. If each Vox needs their own Fx setting, I believe you’d want to use another Fx engine. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong :)
@@daviddinca488 While my previous comment is not necessarily incorrect, it seems the insert Fx don’t absolutely behave the same way as rack Fx, as you aren’t able to simply send as many input channels straight to the MultiBD4 or DynEQ4. One insert Fx per channel. So, if you have a greater number of input channels that need insert Fx than your remaining available Fx slots, do like @realSethMeyers commented and send multiple channels to a bus (group or matrix) and put your insert Fx on that channel. Again, someone please correct me if there is a more ideal method :)
Some bookmarks for me regarding DynEQ4:
10:28 18:11
Stage bleed: 35:27
Proximity, De-Essing: 36:36
Thanks for the great video!
Great video. Thanks for all the practical examples.
I'd love to have Mike Bangs do a video on setting up IEM on dLive AND putting reverb and/or delay in monitors/IEM
You guys are always the best so glad to be your northern user
Thank you!
And,we are waiting for new firmware with a bus compressor;)
Are there any plans for a 12 fader Avantis?
Would it be necessary to use the regular compressor along with the dynamic compressor?
