    Loving the capri content
From memory the discs should be bolted to the hub with locking tabs.
Anyway fab videos looking forward to seeing more. 👍🏻👍🏻

      Hi mate
Glad you like the vid ! Interesting about the locking tabs, i can only assume they have been left off in the past, hopefully the locktite will do its job 🤞🤞👍👍👍

Hello there brother, I had several Capris, here in the States back in the 80's... 74' and 76's... 2.0 , 2.6 , and 2.8's.. Suspension wise, the most problems I had with that shaking of the steering wheel at 70 mph or so, was related to control arm bushings and strut rod bushings.. Stock, rubber Moog brand versions worked best for me.. I had 4 family members driving them, besides myself, so I kinda was running a mini Capri restoration dealership so to speak.. God speed to your success 😉!!!!

Hi mate thats superb ! Good on ya for keeping them all going ! I think on my car the bushes have been upgraded to polybushes, since i did the brakes alot of the wobble has gone, i think the rest is down to the ancient tyres on it so il get them replaced next 👍 All the best and thanks for the message ! Regards MEC 👍👍👍

I bought my red 2.8i 31 and a half years ago and I've been busy fitting a lot of new parts including the front brake pads, callipers and discs. Hopefully it'll be on the road in summer.

I bought my first capri in summer of 1986 and I have had at least one every day since then. Getting on for everyday for nearly 37 years and still not bored of them. As I'm doing the 2.8i I'm using the MK1 3 litre thats now an ETCC ford works touring car replica.

    Great job as always!
Nice to hear it drives better, but how does it track down the road?
If you need new tyres, I would also check the front alignment. Of course, you already know that!

      Hi mate

Hi mate yes it was in a previous video, it turned out to be a tappet that was too tight, we unwound it by about a 1/4 turn and it runs perfectly now ! 👍👍👍

@@mec-tec had a few of them myself m8 antirol bar bushes at the frount are a common problem gives steering wheel wobble also the rear diff can be known to make grinding noises or even seize up in some cases 2 things to be on the lookout for 👍
