A horror game where to chase the monsters to not give them time to over power you?
Sounds fun
Is it just me that’s a bit critical/worried? Dead space is one of my all time favourite franchises (at least 1 & 2 which Iv repeatedly played). But, since seeing the gameplay I’m just not feeling the intensity/fear of darkness that dead space gave me… idk man, not 100% convinced yet.
Edit: and I’m not saying it has to be dead space, but it’s been referred to as its spiritual successor so I was hoping for some level of emotional continuity. And, the first trailer that dropped was so convincing that it was going to fill the boots. But this is starting to look more like a happy meal version of it.
I’m hoping to be proved wrong.
I agree with you. The more I see of this game, the more "meh" I feel about it. Still gonna buy it, of course. I'm sure it will be a fantastic game, but I'm WAY more excited about the Dead Space remake.
@@DeadPixel1105 right?
honestly cannot wait for the DS remake though. Imagine if they did DS 2?!
@@full_nrs I can't even begin to tell you how hyped I am for the Dead Space remake. I'm assuming that they will do a Dead Space 2 remake. I hope they do the entire trilogy.
@@DeadPixel1105 We saw some monsters and combat which both look better and more horror than dead space 1, and judging it from a few clips too is just your nostalgia. It's still your choice of course, but pretty funny how you judge the game from a few clips that all look very good.
I appreciate your preview. The gameplay videos obviously can't showcase the difference in "feel" between games, even if the visual can be similar, so getting a sense of how the game wants you to handle situations helps give context before we can even own such games.
Feel like the last of us combat
I hope that creepy monster from the first trailer is still in this game
It's action horror, just like Dead Space was. Going on and on about how you weren't terrified because you can capably fight back is redundant and dumb, anyone who's played Dead Space knows it's not THAT kind of horror game. It's an action/horror/sci-fi hybrid with great immersion and atmosphere and that's what I'm looking for from this
It's a similar design philosophy to how Doom 2016 forces you to advance. Very welcome and distinguishes the pace from Resident Evil and Dead Space etc.
Doesn't matter if it was. Dead space was a masterpiece
Looking at the gameplay, it just look like dead space with better melee combat.
Even the camera angles look nearly identical
It looks interesting, I think so far I'm more interested in the Dead Space remake, but I'll consider picking this up as well.
Look like just another Dead Space.
Better than Gotham knights
Default GOTY this year has been buns.
Have to agree what did you think of Elden Ring?
Preordered it can’t wait to play the graphics look insane and smooth
The creatures don't look scary but the game looks like it has a decent atmosphere
Sadly its a action packed survival game really was hoping for horror like the first dead space
@@Coach_cesar How do you know? Devs said full game is more horror than action
@@Coach_cesar It looks like it's similar to DS2 though. both action and horror
@@t.t6294 that i can agree on. Shouldve been like the first tho
I'm curious what difficulty level you played it on
Journalist mode.. It was on rails.. 🤭😏
