Kidney stones can be caused by excessive calcium and vitamin D intake, but that excess is really difficult to achieve through diet alone. Typically, levels high enough to cause problems come from misusing/overusing supplements. They can also be caused by excessive intake of animal protein or a diet that is too low in protein. Long periods of low level dehydration could also contribute. I would be hesitant to blame it on the tea until other causes have been ruled out.
I get kidney stones from the caramel coloring in pop but also it is in some types of teas as well. Not a lot of them but some brands have it in them. It sucks and it is painful...Since I have figured it out though I have had no issues. I highly recommend you catch a kidney stone and get it tested to find out. Getting it multiple times is the worst thing ever. Would not wish that pain on my worst enemy....

Skunk and Flamingo are so underrated...getting a level 3 flamingo early and adding a level 2 monkey to it is always one of my favorite strats...lately I've also been doing a level 3 ant and a level 2 kangaroo as my last two pets...just a big beefy ant building up and then buffing a kangaroo is so satisfying to watch...
I don't think Skunk is underrated. Everyone knows its a really good unit that fits into nearly any team.

on the kidney stones issue: citrate and beta-hydroxybutyrate (common BHB) are two cheap and readily available supplements that actually clinically treat kidney disease and kidney stone formation. i highly suggest looking into getting/trying that out. santa barbara nutrients makes a citrate + BHB mix that has clinical trials and published research behind it.

You know what’s absolute evil? Level 3 skunk and a dolphin.
Lv 3 skunk is the perfect counter to hedgehog blowfish.
It could be fun to revisit prior challenges with all the new animals; mammals only, only animals that fly, only aquatic animals, etc.

So why exactly can't you just get the level 3 otter? Am I missing something?
part of the challenge is ONLY getting the challenge animal to level 3. i also wish he would’ve explained it
Why can’t you get level 3 otter if you already have the sticker and ribbon
I think the spirit of the challenge has been not to get other animals to level 3 while doing each individual animal. Because then while doing the ant you can't get anything to lvl 3, but by thr time you're on the spider or something you can just get everything to level 3.

tiger whale deer is so fun in the vanilla pack (you summon 4 buses)
And if you put a mushroom on the deer you get 5 busses
sadly no if you have these 3 at the front, because the whale kills the deer at the start of the turn so the bus would replace the mushroomed deer

The thing that balanced the skunk is the new pack's Pepper right? since it still allows a 50/1 to trade a 50/50? Since in the current pack the skunk is super strong cuz it allows ur 50/50 to win against theirs, then steam roll the rest of their team.
You need atleast 2 health to use the pepper
you should do a challenge where none of your pets can go over 20 hp or attack (or another number)

Yerba Mate is high in oxylate, and should probably be avoided by anyone with a history of kidney issues. Most humans have no trouble with oxylates, and will probably post angry comments about the amazingness of Yerba Mate. Ignore them, just because they don't have to worry about oxylates doesn't mean that everyone can ignore oxylates and chug tea while chowing down on a beet salad.

Why don’t you level three the otters? Doesn’t it give more stats than selling and then getting a 1-1?
The rules on this topic are not so clear - sometimes he does it, sometimes its against the rules of the challenge. So in this case he did it for the sake of the challenge

In the last fight why did the deer spawn behind the buss?
I think it was the mushroom giving the first deer a second life when it dies.
i can't imagine you read the comments for these vids anymore, but i'm a urology resident and while obv a youtube comment isn't formal medical advice, calcium oxalate kidney stones are the most common type (85%) and recommended dietary modifications include higher calcium, since calcium binds to free oxalate in the intestines and decreases absorption, since the gut can only take up free oxalate. staying well hydrated is important, but for someone young and healthy (non obese, non diabetic) who makes kidney stones bad luck and genetics is probably most to blame :( high dietary oxalate hasn't been shown in large studies to contribute very much to stone formation, with people who eat a lot spinach being the only group that seemed to be at higher risk. those studies did affirm the beneficial role of greater calcium intake
there are meds for when you're passing a stone like tamsulosin that can help expel them, but that med wont help you prevent forming them

Can someone explain to me why he sold the almost lv3 otter. If it's for getting lv3 win achievement then it doesn't matter if you get a lv3 otter as long as you don't win the game with that otter just sell later before 10 wins.
It wouldn’t give him the ribbon, but having it at all gives you the badge, and he’s stated for the rules that he can only get one pet’s badge/ribbon per game

No, sloth was yesterday (or at least, almost was). He also said that he would just do the sloth whenever he gets it, rather than hold up A to Z challenge for it because it doesn't show up in the achievements tab.

There should be a piggy bank function for the first clip scenario. He froze the whole shop, and there’s no sense in spending it. Maybe make it to where you can only have a max of three extra coins
Why does he always sell the otter before making it level three? He sold a level 2 2/3 otter so he could buy another otter I don’t get it
I have played 214 SAP games and I’ve only won 14 🥴 I never go in with a strategy and then wonder why I never win
