One of the joys of being a realtor is seeing how my clients turn their house into a home using their own personal style and creativity. Five years ago Russ and Susie Rader decided to leave Anaheim and move closer to their grandchildren.
I helped them purchase this home in Orem, and over the years they have made updates to just about every room of their house. From painting, restoring fireplaces, replacing flooring, remodeling bathrooms, updating the kitchen, and adding a great runner to the stairs, the Raders have brought color and charm to every corner of the home - and impressively, Russ, a skilled craftsman and restorer, has done most of the work himself.
Russ isn’t done though. He has plans to demolish the dining room fireplace and replace it with beautiful stone work and add a wood mantle.
I am lucky to call the Raders my friends, and I benefit greatly from their generosity and Susie’s divine cooking. Thank you, Russ, for the tour!
