Jack would be a silent protagonist and although people didn’t really like that idea much, his facial expressions/reactions to things is what made the movie special along with the amazing performances of the actors
That first splicer is pure nightmare fuel…. I love it so much! The Big Daddy is cursed looking too. Seriously, this like vibe, and aesthetic would be great for a film adaptation.
I thought the same thing! Honestly he would be a great lead if Bioshock ever came to reality in theaters. It ever being made into a movie is a ship that has probably sailed, unfortunately.
1:04 I found this dr.steinman very interesting, he doesn't look like a splicer or he's completely crazy after the civil war in rapture, it looks like he was one of the people who didn't use plasmids until he went crazy or was pretending to be a normal person to try to kill jack (as some splicers did in the original game)
That last part, with the Big Daddy without his helmet was horrific. Really captures the horror of what is actually underneath the diving suit. That part with whatever is in place where his mouth (and probably entire throat) should also really nodes to the whale sounds the make. Hope you do Bioshock 2, really want see what a big sister looks like.
The big daddy at the end is too good. It is in my head canon now that that is what the big daddy prototype looked like before the suit became its skin.
live action lil sisters are such things of nightmare. there's just something so unsettling and depressing about near toddlers running around in such a messed up place doing extremely dangerous tasks
First big daddy we saw looked so imposing bro, absolutely menacing. But on a serious note, this looks awesome. I've never originally been a fan of Bioshock but putting it in the 70's almost makes me nostalgic of movies like Alien, and I just love the 70's look. I could see this being a fantastic movie!
Ooof. Seeing the little sisters so tiny & 'live action' is rough. It's one thing seeing them tortured in a game- which was bad enough for me that I still haven't played a bad ending run yet. It's way worse seeing them as tiny human beings. Somehow I think it's worse without their glowing eyes too. Ugh. Maybe it's because I've been vulnerable & in the system when I was a kid, but man... as much as I would love to see this as a movie, I'll also have to remember to buy a bottle of jack first to get me through it! Worth it though. Best game franchise ever!
Exactly. Yeah, I've never done the bad ending either. It's a very eerie and different sensation seeing them live. There's been creepy children in horror media before, but something about the little sisters makes them more unsettling than what we've seen in the past.
All the green makes me reimagine this as a horror/drama set in a darker version of the Emerald City. Don’t tell me that Sander Cohen here doesn’t look like he could be The Wizard.
A mix of all that I think. They had a lot of iconography that set them apart and made each stand out. To me, a lot (not all) of modern horror lacks that visual distinction.
0:11 why does Jack look like a cross between Michael J Fox, Hugh Laurie and Timmothee Chalamet? Looks like some Return to Oz inspiration here, and that ain’t a bad thing.
This looks scary as hell lol, I’m able to stomach the game now having played in 10x but this movie I might have to watch with all the lights in the house on
This might be saying this but, in fantasy like Malazan, Zelda, Wheel of Time, and so much more, i think this is the only time i wouldnt want an 80s creation, i think the way its made is just perfect to be honest!!
Now I really want HBO to make a adaptation of this after The Last Of Us. There is SOO much they can do with this. Also, I swear Jack in the second shot (0:16) looks familiar from another show but I just can't put my finger on it.
If HBO made a Bioshock series, I would be so so happy. I used the 70s horror movie "Phantasm" a lot as a reference & with that shot of Jack in particular, I think he really looks like the protagonist from it.
A few people are making this comparison; I see it for sure! "Fresh off the success Star Wars, Hamill has been recruited by Jodorowsky/Ridley Scott to play the lead in a new movie set in an underwater city"
Ayn Rand would be screaming if someone had the balls to not only deconstruct her moronic ideologies but show what happens when the captains of industry don't have their workers to make it an industry.
@@medialterations Thank you, i love this music. The music goes so well with the images imagined from bioshock to film of the 70s, it reminds me of the film the city of lost children.
Bioshock 2 video is uploaded now! Check it out!

Were the time index keywords what you used to generate the art in Midjourney?
Jack would be a silent protagonist and although people didn’t really like that idea much, his facial expressions/reactions to things is what made the movie special along with the amazing performances of the actors
I Love bioshock cuz i makes you think about what you are doing either help ATLAS / fontaine or be selfless and help rapture
He had like 2 sentences the entire game
@@triixstiir Bioshock is a game not movie

@@saldzbob9972 yes
Now I really want a Bioshock movie like this.
Same it looks cool and jack looks great.
A 70's Sci-Fi Horror movie directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky.
Definitely a Jodorowsky vibe here
*Cue obligatory funeral dirge for his version of dune*
Oh, what could have been...
Or Stanley Kubrick.
Either one would be awesome.

That first splicer is pure nightmare fuel…. I love it so much! The Big Daddy is cursed looking too. Seriously, this like vibe, and aesthetic would be great for a film adaptation.
Wow, this is so well done. Seriously, chills.
Thanks!
Today it would undoubtedly be a cult film. The visuals are great, I can almost imagine some scenes in particular, and it still looks very spooky.
0:16 I loved Timothee Chalamet’s performance in this.
That's Rutger Hauer, dude. But in 0:18, yep, that's Timothee alright.
I thought the same thing! Honestly he would be a great lead if Bioshock ever came to reality in theaters.

That was mind bending... These AI videos are starting to feel like dreams.

One of my favorite moments in gaming history!
"You can't take it from me, Ryan! I earned it I EARNED IT!!!"
This is so unbelievably cool, I would watch this movie.
Thanks!
A depiction of a Big Sister would’ve been cool as well.
I'll probably do a part 2 at some point; I want to do the stuff from the Minerva's Den DLC as well.

Yes, please. Especially with Minerva's Den.

0:08 Bioshock as a mass market 70's paperback cover by Heinlein or Asimov or A.C. Clarke
Bioshock infinite as a 1910s silent movie would be interesting
Wow, the vibe of this is so sinister yet intriguing.
Man, the AI really struggled to draw/imagine the Big Daddy. I guess it's original design was already perfect
Oh yeah, you can't beat that design. It's a bit too complex for the AI to get exactly right, for sure.
I think it's a cool interpretation though.

Unironically Mark Hamil's best role.
1:26 That's terrifying. Looks like something out of Doom 3...
They may have substituted Brutalism for Art Deco, but this is still hauntingly beautiful.
There are moments where it feels like I'm looking at real production stills and concept art for an actual movie.
I know, right? It's pretty uncanny.
art deco in bioshock is beautiful
Well done!!
Thank you!
The art style and asthetic looks like a movie Stanely Kubrick would make.
This is one of the best “random” videos I have ever stumbled across. Kudos to you.

I could see David Lynch making this.
Or Stanely Kubrick
Jesus Christ, the little sisters are haunting.

1:28 David Lynch shat a brick when he saw this
In an alternate universe, our favorite games would’ve been great films.
What made these old horror movies so great? Was it the set design, the lighting, costumes?
A mix of all that I think. They had a lot of iconography that set them apart and made each stand out. To me, a lot (not all) of modern horror lacks that visual distinction.
0:11 why does Jack look like a cross between Michael J Fox, Hugh Laurie and Timmothee Chalamet?

Holy shit this gives me Stanley Kubrick vibes and I love it, I love it to death.
Bioshock is hands down one of the best licensed games
Atlas looks like a white version of Tank from the Matrix.
Rutger Hauer in Bioshock movie
It’d better if it was 90’s, that’s were you get the Edward Scissor hands aesthetic & scenery.
this gave me heavy blade runner vibes (the original) and I love it.
Now Bio Infinite!

These photos where taken from actual movies? They really look from a bioshock one!
They're AI created, so the program would've just been influenced by actual movies such as Alien, Phantasm, & Omega Man.
A lot of the times movies based on video games are garbage but, Bioshock would probably make for a good movie.
