@@erikneek. It’s like removing everything on the metal and it turns new condition without polishing or scratching the metal. By the way just bought 3 sewing machines. Singer 15-91. Very good shape. I’m starting collecting like you.
Hi Mike, nice to have you here. Well, difficult question. I was lucky enough to buy a mint 201k (1939), an aluminum 201k from the 1950's, a 221k Featherweight and a really strong and capable 78-1. Those four will stay with me. There is only one machine on my wish list: a rare Singer 30k mini sewing machine. If I find one I will use it for a tutorial - I already have the script done 🙂 Take care!
I LOVE the tin foil idea, you really helped me! Thank you
@@brandijennings6256 thank you so much for your message. Glad I was able to help you. Good luck
IT'S BEAUTIFUL.

I DO THIS TOO.
I LOVED YOUR VIDEO, THANKS SO MUCH.
Erik, ever tried Nickel Electroplating after the removal of rust?
Hi my friend. No I havent tried that. To be completely honest: I didnt even knew what it was until I just googled it. 🙂
Have a great day.
From what I read about replating parts of vintage sewing machines, the result is usually disappointing.

What if there is a rust spot on corner of paint
@@MonaDidWhat to be honest, I don’t know.
I know some people repaint tired old Singers. But I haven’t done that.
Good luck
Ultra sonic can do a trick also. Good job bro
Thank you for you comment! I'm not familiat with ultra sonic but I'll look it up.
Have a great weekend!

Hey Eric. Got a question. What vintage Singer would you like to have. Just curious. Thanks Mike from America.

@@erikneek Hey Eric, what’s your take on the Singer 115.
@@michaelbean739 hi again. I never had a Singer 115. So I cannot comment about that machine.
good job
Thank you!
Some chemical rust removers are very effective with no mechanical action. I would otherwise use sandblasting.
Thank you for your comment! Thanks for sharing
