Increasingly, the Conan series is more of a puzzle than a detective story. Another flaw in the series is that Conan sometimes doesn't really find the culprit, but suddenly a supporting character says something unrelated to the case, or makes a strange gesture. He immediately linked it to his case, and the action was repeated over and over again. It diminished the persuasiveness of his reasoning. Not to mention in most confrontations with the Black Organization, Conan is always in a passive position and has never caught the opponent.
Detective Conan has a lot of creative strategies which requires a lot of reasoning and your "it's more a puzzle", just to let you know, detective cases are puzzles basically, plus the fact that some cases use 3 people as suspects, it doesn't lessen the difficulty, also the murderer which doesn't have escape it's bland as an argument since in order to escape completely you have to go overseas, kudo and the police are capable of capturing him even with a few hints for example bomb case, furthermore it's not true that there are only cases with 3 suspects, and the fact that kudo sometimes has hints by random sentences doesn't mean he doesn't have an incredible logical reasoning since every detective needs hints or researches about things, even L needed it, plus against the BO kudo is the mastermind of every plan how can you say he is passive

I don't remember every feat in VSI but a good one who can put Conan above DN is in movie 13( I don't remember if the number is correct), basically the black organization was shooting Conan,there were 2 snipers and on helicopter shooting at Conan, here Conan was forced to go upstairs and he managed to do a short term planning thanks to his VSI, he viewed the entire area and th distance between the ground and the helicopter, he calculated how to make a damage only by this information, basically just looking at the distance from the ground and the helicopter, and you must remember that Conan was being shot by them, se he took few seconds to view and scan the entire area
