I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

765 CFM is where it's at. I live in TN and it's a must have when you have to blow leaves so many times per week.

Average size yards with 50/50 hardscape and lawn. Basis of comparison is my old Toro 200+mph corded blower and a Bauer 50v cordless. The control and power of the Ego 765 is wonderful. I lightly press the trigger to move light debris or around delicate plants, then full trigger on general pavement clearing and leaf blowing on lawn. On full trigger the leaves blow off pavement edge and up and over a 2" lawn elevation onto the lawn. I hit the turbo button to blow stubborn cobwebs off of gate protrusions and to reach under vehicles. With this type of job the battery last for two of these sessions. The 5 bar battery indicator is really helpful. I loved the Toro's AC power but hated the 100ft cord I used to drag around. Gas powered blowers are too weak until you get into the backpack models. No regrets getting this powerful model and like most expensive equipment that does the job properly I don't even think about the extra cost anymore. Not so with buyers remorse over cheaper POS's that aggravate you.

Going to buy it right now. Bought an EGO snow blower, great, upgraded my dewalt mower to an ego mower- great, upgrading my dewalt blower to an ego blower in the next hour. Will be great! And having all the batteries is great as well, they all fit all their products which is probably the most underrated feature compared to other electric outdoor tools. I'm sitting on 2 products with a 7.5ah, and 2 5ah's. Another 5ah is coming in so ill be all set and wont have to put out a couple hundred on an additional battery.

I love my 765. I wish they could update the backpack version. I find myself just keeping turbo on the whole time. "God mode" but it does indeed clobber the battery. I would appreciate at the price them to add a "good" neck strap. as fatigue sets in fighting with the hand of God for 15 minutes.

Love my EGO tools! I'll NEVER go back to gas-powered lawn equipment. Maintenance-free, no gas or oil, quieter, and doesn't get any easier than the push of a button to start. It's a no-brainer, in my opinion. I have about 8 or so EGO products and haven't even thought about the gas-powered equivalent since I purchased them. Couldn't be happier with EGO tools!

I want one of these, but I'm so confused on the pricing. Did you always buy new EGOs with the batteries? I have a chainsaw and love it, now I want the blower, but the blower+battery is 50$ more than blower alone, but if you want an extra battery retail is 300$ This 250$ gap is what is preventing me from investing more in their products.

Personally, I have invested in the higher powered 10 and 12 AH batteries. The batteries used for Ego tools are universal. It’s better to just pay less for the tool only packages and save money on the lower runtime batteries that come with the Ego tools.

  • @paulemile4933

Also have to say the Stihl BG86 is more powerful than the 765CFP unless I run it in turbo mode but that kills the battery in 12 minutes. This gets quite annoying so I generally use the BG86 for blowing leaves as it easily goes for 1/2 hr before needing a 2 minute fill-up.
I've also gotten used to running the BR600 backpack blower in my right hand and the BG86 in my left hand at the same time to really speed things up.

I have thought about this also. The cost is high, but achievable if used for commercial purposes. However, having the backpack version of the blower is nice as it puts the weight and pressure on your body instead of arm. Hopefully they update it from the current 600CFM offering also.

The power drop is normal as mentioned in the video the maximum power output changes when they switched from a 5.0Ah to 10.0Ah. Some people believe the amp hour has nothing to do with power output but that is incorrect. Not because there is no difference but because they don't have the tool that is able to show the difference and high torque/output tool always does.

Cool blower but cordless leaf blowers are the worst cordless tool out there. I’ve bought every kind and none of them are feasible for anything more then a driveway or tiny lawn. All the ratings aren’t worth a damn for more then the first 2 minutes. You can offset this by investing in more batteries and fast chargers but it will be very hard on your batteries they draw way more then trimmers do you will have continuously less capacity and warranty won’t cover replacement even at 30% degradation which puts you at roughly 6 minutes run time.

Unless you don’t really use a blower much and want a quiet option. Even ryobi big backpack battery blower is not great after the first 5 minutes. If I was going with any cordless platform for any kind of real use it would be makita but they just made it have two batteries to offset the draw you would still have to spend a lot you could get a commercial backpack blower for the cost of a cordless with extra batteries. It's pointless to not run it in turbo. However, I should point out that I'm on my 3rd ego blower. Lastly, I find the cruise control feature more annoying than useful.

Quality issues? Could you please expand on why you are on your 3rd one? Thank you!

@Joshua Triggs I used the first one to clear snow off cars. I guess some moisture affected the first. It should not have been a problem since they are rated as moisture proof. 2nd one just died the motor failed. I think it's because I always run it in Turbo. Currently on 3rd one I've had it about 6 months and it's working OK but I don't use in the winter anymore like I did before. I also had my single stage ego snowblower fail last Winter ego made me take it to a local service center and it took them 6 months to fix, I didn't get it back until July. I spoke with ego about this past week because I noticed that it's doing the same thing where it's draining one battery until it's completely dead. This killed a battery last year and it also took out the snowblower circuit board. The person I spoke to this week at ego said that that's normal. I disagree butt it is that's what it is.
When the single stage died last year, I ended up just buying the ego 2 stage as winter was not over yet.

@@thebigdoghimself Thanks so much for the quick response. After hearing all of your troubles I think I’ll stick with my Stihl. Good luck and thanks again!!!

The other modes only exist to give it a higher average runtime because nobody would buy it if it advertised a 8-10 minute runtime.
