    Yes, we have Apple authorized reseller shops. Power Mac Center is one of them…and arguably, the nearest thing to be an Apple Store in the Philippines. Although, they sell Apple products, the resellers don’t have the same service(s) compared to the bona fide Apple Stores.

    Final prices includes taxes on the displayed price in the PH. We do not have the burden of adding sales tax during checkout. I feel so bad for Americans.

    • @dyldog
      @dyldog ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Don’t feel bad, it’s not that hard once you’ve done it a few times. Usually it’s around 5-8% depending on the state/city. Growing up in Wisconsin if the item is $19.99 I know I’d pay $21.09 after tax

    • @MrMrREmm
      @MrMrREmm ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dyldog i now live in HI, its still upsetting to see people struggle with it. It’s just another thing to think about that prices aren’t upfront.

    Prices all around the world except Canadian and American does include VAT, GST etc so that’s why it looks a bit higher.

      you also have to consider that their income is probably a lot lower on average so it's more expensive in that way

    Hi Drew
    I was checking out Power Mac in MOA MALL. The other day. Why no official store in the Philippines? I’m sure it would be really busy.
    WhatsApp is really popular in the UK but most people seem to use messenger 🤷‍♂️

    There are Apple Stores on the Philippines but only few. Mostly there are placed on popular or major Malls and high income residences/place in the Philippines .
    Though tbh from my experience authorized resellers are cheaper compared to apple stores and authorized resellers are much easier to find. Which is a bargain tbh haha.

  • @Shinynyancat213

    Tax is already included when you buy in the Philippines, that’s why it’s a bit expensive compared to US price lol.

    I need to talk to Tim about this. I really thought this issue, well not really an issue but when Tim and I were on dinner meeting a month ago and. I brought this concern to him about not having the legit Apple Store in the Philippines. He was actually very surprised and disappointed in a way about my fellow Flips not having Apple Store so he told me and promised he will investigate on this matter and whatever comes out on the investigation Tims goal is to build one of the fancy and big all glass like the one in NYC and Tim even told me that this might be the most prestigious Apple Store they will ever build and yeah it’ll be in Manila. I i guess watch out my fellow Flips hold a little patient and yeah apple is coming as promised by the man himself @timcooks 😊😊😊
