I don't know why we cover the coaster after using the heat gun. The person who taught me this technique said it creates this effect more beautifully. To achieve that effect, the resin should be thin means the viscosity of resin should be low otherwise it won't work.

The reason for covering the resin pieces is to protect them from dust particles.

At wat time intervals shud we use heat gun ...

You don't need to wait . Just use heat gun first in highest speed , then after removing bubbles with torch use heat gun in slowest speed without any delay .🙂

May i know how much grams did you put for crystals?

Not much . I don’t know the exact measurements but I think it would roughly take 50 to 60 grams of resin to cover all crystals .

I tried it various times with same resin n mica but can't get the results, it remains plain from both sides... What i m doing wrong😢

Are you following the steps exactly the same as subtitles? Also, Viscosity of resin should be less to make this crackle effect.

Yes i followed the same steps n with low viscosity but still not perfect results like this

@@shahveerusmani7957 are you using crystalpoxy mica powder? Because to make this effect mica should be a good quality and are you using heat gun just like a did in a video first in full speed and then in lowest speed? And also after following all steps , do cover the coasters with a box to let it cure… I don’t know the logic behind it but from where l learnt, it is necessary step to make this coaster. Hope next time you will be able to get a good result 😊
