could you not use the 620 haul road sweeper for airport application??? sweeping for run way clearance of snow, whilst putting down ISOMEX runway de-icer???
I moved those to the mining site in Zambia from South Africa. They cut the frame and rear axle off a 6x6 and use the diff for the back axle of the tank trailer. As its towed the differential spins the input yolk and they use this to power the sweeper. Works way better when there is a lot of ground to cover than the tow behind tractors usually used.
Electric equipment?? Really? Do you think the 4 to maybe 6 hours of work is going to pay for the cost to recharge it, let alone pay wages ?? ha ha ha. I don’t think so, if it ain’t moving it ain’t making money
Of course no one cares what you think...you could never buy one....So naturally you must be so much smarter that all of the folks that foolishly did buy them and are running them! In the real world this is what is happening!
@Michael D , with a bunch of the electrical equipment they don't park the machines to charge. They have cassette batteries that they swap out at charging stations. Takes about the same time it takes to fuel up a ICE machine, or even less very often. In underground mining it alleviates a lot of need for ventilation.
every one of these videos of so called new tech I've seen when when I was a kid. I'm 57 now. these are all knock offs from back in the day when people and companies actually designed them in the 60's 70' and the 80's. yet another click bait video.
Very cool 😎
Very nice job from Caterpillar
Класс. Приятно каждый раз ваши видео смотреть. Хоть вы показываете новинки в технике.
Вы влажный, как мать на cinco de mayo спасибо.

lots of cool equipment😍👌 great inspiration for future RC model builds👍
That's right. Im in the middle of building the truck shown on the cover picture of the video.
The mudmaster isn't a copy of soviet tech. Henry ford invented that back in 1920's for his model "T"s and tractors.

Do you have any idea how much electrical powered underground mining equipment there is? I guess not but electrical drives are pretty effective.
