- We wanted to put an explanation of the voluntary liquidation of our long term business, Celtic Motorhomes. There is a full explanation on our Facebook page and website. Our subscribers on here may have noticed a name change from Celtic Motorhomes to Voyage Adventure Vans. This will be our new business. We have kept the same You tube channel as we regard this as our history and our foundations. Voyage will be building the same style of vans as those are my designs. But we will be working as a much smaller team, doing one van at a time. More importantly, we will be fully embracing vanlife and going on plenty of adventures, plus documenting our builds on here.
I am so proud of our Celtic Motorhome and would not change it for anything. Well maybe if I had the money I could by one from Voyage Adventure Vans. I know their work and trust them implicitly. We wish you both well in the new venture which we think has a brilliant name.

I've watched your videos for inspiration as I have a van to convert. I too know what it's like to work 80-90-hour weeks and it's just soul destroying (especially when you have a van that's just sat there for over a year after delivery!). I can't imagine the added stress of being responsible for staff and dealing with all the uncertainty with supply chains so don't beat yourself up about this. You have to maintain a balance otherwise what's it all about!
Thanks Rob, unfortunately it came to that. Dont get me wrong, the hours are ok some times, but if your not making money you have to draw the line somewhere.

Thank you Ian. It wont be the end of finished vans on Instagram and TH-cam. In fact as Voyage, I intend to do much more detailed build videos once we are up and running properly. They will definitely not progress so quickly as I will pretty much be building them solo. However, that will allow me time to film and cover the parts I want to show. So keep an eye on this channel.

Sad to hear of your closing, but pleased to see you will be building top quality campers and enjoying more van life. Sorry we will never have the money to engage your skills, I would like to enquire about purchasing your MWB fibre glass shower tray from your production / supplier. Much appreciated if this is possible. Regards Dave.
Sorry, but the shower tray is our design and is not something we intend to sell.

We hope to be still building them, but definitely in smaller numbers as there will only be 2 of us.

Sad to see the door closing but you said it you were not making money and had no life as it seemed to be all work. Very best wishes for the future with Voyage Adventure Vans.
