I like your second to last hypothesis best, but add Ungoliant (your last hypothesis) and such as The Unnamed things deep beneath Moria... All strange harmonies that just are.
He's the opposite of Ungoliant. Very simple. She was an echo from the darkest darkness and he from the brightest light. They're as unrelated to maia as anything could ever be. He's dismissed in the council as weaker than sauron, but you know none of them would ever try themselves against him/his "realm" because they'd lose.
@@denniskrust2137 actually compared to the other characters like gandalf and frodo Tom hasn't really gotten that much attention in the past. And just because he's a minor character if you have truly listened to this presentation here you would understand why he deserves a lot more attention. Minor doesn't mean not important, in fact it may mean very very important. He's finally getting the attention he deserves.
makes you wonder if hes the opposite of Ungoliant a being of pure light or life and she was stronger than Morgoth and that of darkness and such idk maybe i had to much to drink
Great video..... none of these really go anywhere near to Tolkien's letters etc though.............. entertaining ? yes....realistic? not really. In addendum I would say, temporal displacement is not even a lotr concept really. You've taken tom to star trek.....
Luving these
Wonderful.

Being the thought of Ungoliant is the most disturbing thing in this video.
I don't understand the recent obsession with Bombadil on so many ME channels. He's a minor character in a small area.

100% disagree. See The Council of Elrond for all one needs to know and forget him.

If Bombadil is a God, then Sauron is a greater God than he. Galdor and Glorfindel agree. See Council of Elrond.

He's just a Maia of the same 'order' as Sauron or Eonwe. There is no mystery. Move along, nothing to see here.
