    What happened with Rover Ruckus? Heard you guys got eliminated early. I can’t imagine, with such a masterpiece

      We lost many members and took way too long brainstorming and designing and not enough building. Ended up with a drive base and lift and no intake :(

    I see you guys have 10T and 14T sprockets. Do they have clamping hubs? If so, im interested in where you got those?

      We don't use clamping hubs, when we built this robot the primary system we used for keying sprockets in place was a special hand-made key system. We got them from Surplus Center though, they are remarkably inexpensive.

    How did the mecanum drive work for you guys? Was it smooth even though half your robot extends outward?

    • @emberklavins9567
      @emberklavins9567 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The drive was actually quite smooth considering the ~70 pound weight of the robot, the only issues we had were to do with the sprockets and bearings delivering power to the rear wheels.

    This is awesome to watch. I remember seeing a leak of the intake and thinking 'why on earth is the whole thing on a scissor extension?'
