Finally someone did this, I had the same idea. I see many mechanic trying to take time removing rust. Why not just build a large tank and dip the whole frame of the car into electrolytic and simply restoring it naturally

Yes, you change the body pole to positive and put chrome or some anti corrosion material to negative side, the material i going to stick on the frame and will be made as 2020 models in terms of anticorosion systems

What is the mixture percentage you use? Also do you use something in solution so the metal don't flash rust?

Hello Trent: the trio of chemicals we use and their respective ratios are proprietary to this facility. Regarding flash rust, when the project has gone through its final pressure wash, we simply blow dry it not unlike the blow hours dryers you may find in an automated car wash. We then raise the car up into the hot- Florida sun for several to further force dry any moisture we may have missed. Refer to our Chevelle and Mercedes videos for better examples of this technique. As long as we have a sunny day, flash rust has never been an issue.

I have 69 goat frame and body I was planning on blasting.... Not anymore. I work as a collision bodyman and painter so I want to be the only one to touch this from beginning to end . Do you think building a tank out of wood and using a tarp or pond liner will work or any suggestions for what to use for tank

Hello fish frenzy: In my opinion, wood and a pond liner is inviting disaster. However, I guess it would work if built well enough. Just make sure to use over-the-counter chemicals such as wash soda. It's nowhere near what we use here, but may work. I believe you can send wash soda down the drain and not get thrown in jail for many years. Check with your local govt......good luck!
