I have also suffered rejection since my day 1.... almost killed on my first day 9/6/97 @ 5pm by my mum I thank God for his protection at 1 year she also attempted to sell me to our neighbors sister who couldn't get a baby ........my dad left (I have never seen him )I thank God for his love he has never abandoned me even if I feel low,heart broken. I will never get tired of lifting his(God) name. I feel encouraged

I watched her testimony with Jeremy Damaris two days ago and I am here watching again, and I'll watch again and again. Edith oozes wisdom, I admire how she enquires of the Lord in whatever she does and that makes all the difference. Oh and her voice is angelic!

I was jobless, sleeping in the house and in the afternoon hrs I feel that I should go and remind the HR of a certain company of my several Cv's I had dropped there ..I took shower and went reached to the office at around 3:40pm she was in a hurry and she tells me she's going home,I should go the following day in the morning with another copy of CV
I prepared myself very early in the morning by the time they were opening the office I was seated at the reception and she calls me to her office,takes the CV after going through it she told me to leave her with it incase she has an opportunity she won't hesitate to call me,then on going out I realised Soo many people were seated at the reception and I became curious and asked them what they were coming for,they were honest enough and told me they are coming for an interview of a certain project
I went back to the HR office and requested her if I can join those who had come for the interview and try my luck but she told me no,you can't join them you're not qualified for the post😥
I walked down the stairs from 2nd floor and on reaching ground floor a spirit in me tells me to go back and seat together with those who are waiting for the interview,I went back and on reaching first floor I turned back and started going home again..but on reaching the gate the spirit pushed me again and this time I went back and sat together with them
Then someone asks "who are here for the interview"and I raised my hand together with them we were handed over a form and filled it ,we were 30 and so she was picking 5 forms ,and after interviewing the five she comes for 5 more
So I decided I'll b the last person to give out mine since am not invited for the interview.. finally I was the last person to be interviewed on entering the interview room I heard",you don't look like your coming for the interview" which was true because all I was carrying was a mobile phone no papers🤭
But that's the day I saw God put words in my mouth I spoke with alot of courage and even challenged the interviewers,.
To cut the story short I got the job and that's where I work to date..the HR saw me when I was signing the contract and she also got shocked 😲 but what God has chosen no man can change

I learn from Edith that many of us have missed opportunities that God offered because we lacked wisdom or we did not listen to that inner man-where the Spirit of God is speaking to our spirit.

There is nothing like rejection. It is a way of God trying to project us to our destiny, but being humans who feel the need to be loved call it rejection. There is nothing that happens to us that is a mistake. The more we keep fighting the more we delay your destiny.

Sorry for your loss dear 😢 , we are many grieving our babies .I buried 1 in 2020 and another in 2021 this kind of pain can be suffocating sometimes but God's grace does carry us through one day at a time. May God continue healing u.

When a sat for my kcse back in 2005, for some time I dreamt my grade and I used to pray and say God give me a higher crade but the dream repeated it self and when the results came I got the same crade.i have learnt now is only God who keeps his word,the kind of interview you listen to and immediately you start praying without someone telling you to pray.

Things I learnt from this show
1. Your meeting was via devine connection since you just bumped into her page Lynn and you had never heard of her. Our God is amazing. Akifungua mlango.......
2. Don't glolify the devil, always look to see God even in the bad
3. All that happens to us in life is preparing us for a testimony when God is done with us.
4. Sometimes what we think is the best for us is not what God has in mind. His ways and his thoughts are way to higher than our own.

She's reminded me the depression i went through 2022 when i lost my new born baby Gabriella who was three days old.The truth is for the first time i lost my trust in the Lord.I blamed him for allowing me carry the pregnancy for 36wks, went through labor pains, pushed my baby safely, handled her for a while.I asked him why he didn't let me experience a miscarriage!I tell you it was a total disgrace.I lost appetite, i hated myself and all those around me.That's when i realized depression is real.However,i thank God he picked me out of it with a positive attitude.He taught me how to trust him alone than trusting what he has provided or blessed me with.

I really needed to hear this for myself today 😢, do you know to be rejected when young, you grow up and get married and the man leaves you with the children, you try going back to your people and still you can't get peace, you choose to leave your children to go and work so that you can provide for them and they're also rejected by your people, you end up leaving a life just you and the children, God i need your grace.
