You should do more videos on Shawnee combat/weapons/tactics! I can't get enough of the stuff!

I like you mentioned Amazon and plains bow and accessory differences. And how things are tailored to the environment and customs of the people who used them.
The bows a universal tool but very different from area to area and continent to continent. The yew war bow to the plains short bow are all fascinating to look into in their own respective way. But i get tired of them being compared to one another when their completely different in use and materials.

With the fir quivers do you line it with some leather or leave it as just the fir? Do you stuff the bottom with some cloth to keep the points from jostling and also not cut the quiver?

Did you inherit these skills and if so how?

Hell Talon! I have a question.
I am sure you make your brass trade points/ kettle points out of sheet brass... But I am curious as to what gauge of sheet brass you use?? Do you use sheers to rough cut out the point?

Hito! I am fortunate to have quite a lot of pieces from early 19th century Trade Kettles, so when it is important that the details are right, I chisel cut the points from those. But for times when it's not as important, I use 24 gauge sheet. Chisel cutting is nice, because it allows me to cut the inside 90 degree angles without twisting up the brass in weird ways and making sharp spots for the sinew wrapping to get cut.

    Much better sound quality.
Have you gotten to see/study an actual 18th c period quiver?

      Yeah I'm happy with it!
I have been able to look at a couple quivers from the 18th century, both virtually and in person. Mainly leather and fur pieces, in the NMAI

Something different about you? And not the change in hairstyle, your cheeks look less puffy and slightly more flattened. Maybe it's just the camera? awesome quivers
