  • The hydraulic coupler sockets are leaking on the 6400 so I bought new ones. Hopefully this will fix the problem. Thanks for watching! They are a metric pipe thread. I rep;aced mine with a standard coupler, I rethreaded the Male thread right over the top of the SAE thread. Cleaned the thread good and hit it with permanent (takes heat to remove) thread locker. Worked perfect, still gonig 3 years later.

    More need for pressure relief on the bottom valves? I think I might have opted for the rebuild at $82 a pop! You can see them rebuilt on Onelonleyfarmers channel. Too simple. Thanks for sharing with us. We really appreciate the time you invest in videoing for us. I learn something every time!

      +Bill Whitman I was going to rebuild them at first, but decided to replace them with new one's then rebuild them and have them for spares. I figured when I get a 7400 I would have back up outlets for the 64 and 74.

    Good work Brad. Did u get much rain to day? I saw on the radar this morning rain was up by you now it just made its way down here. And ur right about parts replacement technicians at dealers are just parts changers anymore. Just guess what might be wrong

      What would you like to know about the drill?

    Too bad you can't swap to flat face hydraulic connectors as they leak far less. Only downside is you have to also swap the ends that plug into these to match.
    Cheaper than ordering from Deere.

    I know this is an old video but did you get it to work? We have the same tractor and have replaced them on the left side twice and no luck now all 4 remotes are leaking down and wont hold anything up.

    • @larsonvalleyfarm
      @larsonvalleyfarm  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Been working great ever sense. I changed out the factory outlets on my 7400 to these outlets as well... WAY better than the factory ones!

      @@larsonvalleyfarm Good well I think we have a different problem. One set is leaking again this is the 3rd time and the other remote settles but not as bad doesn't leak just that outside one it is very frustrating.

    • @larsonvalleyfarm
      @larsonvalleyfarm  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could it be in the valve itself? Maybe a bad seal?

      @@larsonvalleyfarm Ya I am thinking it is behind it somewhere. Something is making those SCV's fail. gona get on my tractor forum and see what they say.
