I'd like to know what Gary's personal favorite speaker is. Larry talks about lots of speakers. What's the best man? These I can tell would be great treat to the ear, I just can't afford anything over 300-350 dollars.
That's the suggested retail price. Do some googling and find out that the speakers sell for much less. Got myself a discount pair for only 200€. And that is definitely a good price.
I was running the Hertz 165xl. at 150 rms on a jl slash 300/4. then went to the jl 600 /4 HD . jl 10w6 on a jl 500/1 JBLMS8 processor .. the Hertz could have handled more power
I know it's been a while but I got the Focal PS165FX 6.5" 2 Way Split Car Speakers running them off a focal 5 channel amplifier In bridge mode 200w by 2, with a Audison bit 10D, as I'm using stock satnav from my fj cruiser as the source unit and a Mtx 500 rms mono amp powering a 12 inch Mtx slimline subwoofer ,quality cabling (Audison brand lol) and sound damping focal bam, dynamat xtreme in most places needed ☺️ Also.... To say I'm happy with the sound is a understatement....I'm blown away incredible sound

I ended up getting the focal flax both sound awesome though cannot go wrong either way
