      Well, their earlier episodes were more original, and not going based on current events as much (just like when Futurama returned, making episodes about the IPhone & Susan Boyle), and not full of so much obvious programming/propaganda; but at least it's still funny. Too bad it's so vulgar-- I can't watch it like I used to since becoming a Christian. God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the name above all names & the only way to Heaven❤

      It's actually unbelievable how South Park has held up so well after all these years. I saw some list of TV shows coupled with their IMDB rating over however many seasons, and I think Seinfeld was the one with the very highest average throughout all 9 of their seasons, but South Park had the second highest average rating, except they have like 20 seasons.

      @@thomasrushin2529 South Park pokes fun at and ridicules extremism and tribalism and hypocracy. Doesn't matter to them which political party would identify with the issues. I would say that in that respect they have made way more fun of the US political left than the US political right the past few years, just since there has been a lot more extremism, tribalism and hypocracy from the mainstream left.

      I love SouthPark but they obviously lean left.
      What gave it away for me was the end of the episode “the cissy” when Principal Victoria states to the auditorium “anybody who has a problem sharing a bathroom with a person who might be transgender can use the special designated bathroom designed to keep them away from the normal people who don’t care.”
      So basically Tre and Matt are sending the message that if you don’t feel comfortable sharing a bathroom with a transgender person you are not normal.
      Well it turns out most Americans are uncomfortable sharing a bathroom with a trans, most especially women. How many times have we seen women complain and made uncomfortable because some 250lb man decides to put on a dress and invade their private spaces?
      I thought Tre and Matt were incredibly ignorant for that message, especially when they have daughters of their own.

    • @alibabaschultz352
      @alibabaschultz352 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@jjones9822 Thats not ignorance, its simply an opinion. There's nothing inherently wrong with men and women using the same restroom space, even if that offends you. There have been gender neutral restrooms for years.
      And if you want to lump your views into "right wing" and their views into "left wing", thats fine, but it has nothing to do with truth. Dont be tribal.

    I think I need some elaboration on the point of the teacher/student relationship thing.
    "Well, no, its different, right?" "Boys and girls react differently"
    What is different about it? Especially with the age gap in the episode, a female teacher can do just as horrible things to a male student as a male teacher can do to a female one. While it may not be through biological processes, a woman could still hurt a boy in that way, or force a boy to do the act on her. There would certainly be depraved ways a teacher so inclined could abuse an older student too.
    I acknowledge you said both situations deserve to be prosecuted, but I dont see a difference here. Men and women are different biologically, yes, but there is no difference in this kind of abuse except what body parts might be used to commit the act. Thats it.

    • @xinpingdonohoe3978
      @xinpingdonohoe3978 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      Well, to solve that you'll first want to establish why it's wrong for a person above the age of consent to sleep with someone below the age of consent.
      But that relies on the assumption that the age of consent is correct, is logical, is meaningful. It isn't. This isn't Cinderella. The stroke of midnight of whatever birthday the government chooses doesn't impart you with wisdom.
      Therein lies a problem. If the law is based on something completely arbitrary, and yet people have been programmed to believe it's gospel, then how can we have a meaningful and cohesive conversation about it? We can't. And that means that we know that there is a chance the dynamic is different, but we presently can't unpack it.

      @xinpingdonohoe3978 the age of consent is established because that is the age where our brains are developed enough that the law believes us capable of our own decisions. Our brains are actually fully developed at 25, but we're developed enough at 18 to be able to make those decisions. No, there is no difference other than one days time between a person 17 years and 364 days old and 18 years old, Im not talking about that here. I dont care if a 19 year old is dating a 17 year old. Im talking a teacher going after students that are usually 10 or so years their junior. My youngest teachers in middle school were 10 years older than I was, and the same in high school. The age of consent is established because children and teens dont have enough development in the impulse control and decision making parts of their brains. Adults, especially over the previously stated age of 25, should know better. Should have that impulse control. It is amoral, not just illegal, to have relations of that kind.
      But truly, you didnt answer the question. What is different about it?

    I gotta tell you Michael, I don't know if you read your comments but, I'm a libertarian, and a social left leaning one at that, but you crack me up. I try to follow equal parts right and left channels here on youtube to reduce my chances of getting caught in an echo chamber, and you and Nick Freitas are my favorite conservatives on here. I may not agree with everything you say (but I do with a lot of it), but I thoroughly enjoy many of your videos.
    Also, just a side bar, when I say left leaning, I mean what the left USED to be. It's gone crazy now. I'm more in line with Bill Burr or Joe Rogan.

    Cartman becomes a Jew. You got it right. Cartman would always mock Kyle for being one, but he ended up as one as an adult

      Cartman also dressed up as Hitler and marched chanting a German phrase in passion of the Jew too.
