There’s quite some haters for this song but then again, if you’re the top girl group, you’ll get the hate. I liked it because I’m a 90s girl so I enjoyed all the references (some obvious, some not so obvious) paying homage to their faves like Biggie and Nas, the breakdown with the west coast rap sound, Rihanna , etc. I’m glad you guys got to check it out.

Imagine, this video clearly wasn't even talkint bout their favorite group, this channel isn't owned by these entitled commenters and yet these people still comin here shooting their shots against BLACKPINK in a hope where they shamelessly think y'all both might gonna backing down from BLACKPINK after reading bunch of these mischievous/miselading commenraries
Oh Lord, this is why BLACKPINK would always rising higher and higher in the community cuz the jealousy would keep haunting these 4 powerful ladies everywhere they go and no matter how enjoyable the moments from their music reaction, smh 🤦♂
Many of them are just here because they watch all the videos these gentlemen put out, give their opinions of the song/artist, and then recommend the artist they have been hoping that they will check out. Comments about other artists exist under the video of every reaction that's ever been put on TH-cam. (Unless it didn't receive views, that is.) And I would say about 30% of them on average will be from someone who perhaps, for whatever reason, isn't a fan of the artist the reactor just did a video on. They almost always say something if they don't like the artist, since that's the point of these channels, to find out what people are and aren't into. Most reactors even ask, "What did you think?" at the end of the video. That's just how these work. The reactor whose videos these are is simply doing the whole reaction thing in the way that most people prefer, which is following the supply and demand method. People tell them what they do and don't want, they oblige.
I will agree that, yes, people tend to get more and more passive-aggressive.... or just aggressive aggressive lol, under the videos of the groups they deem to be unworthy of their fame for whatever reason they may have. I say the keyword there is FAME, as they wouldn't care if the group was a new group no one had really heard of yet. And THAT I do find sad. But that's their prerogative. Besides, 99% of them aren't being too bad. Just saying the group isn't for them because of whatever reason, then give a list of some who are. I think that's perfectly fair. It only gets annoying when they straight up say things to insult the artist directly. Such as having no talent or saying they have "bad music"... After all, music is subjective. There's no such thing as bad music. Just music you as an indication happens to not like. There is no need to undermine the fact that art is art and it all deserves to be loved by whoever wants to love it.
With that having been said, I think that perhaps some fans have yet to realize that this does happen to every group. Some more than others, but only because of the number of views that the video gets. One with 1000 views may only have 1 or 2. A video with 10000... perhaps 10-20. However, that know in no way means that they aren't liked, or disliked, more or less that the other. Their average is actually the same. As for then dropping another groups name... believe it or not, the bigger the group the LESS of that there is. Seriously, it's the groups that aren't as popular where people literally treat the comment section as nothing more than a request list. Most of the time, the comment will literally just say the groups name they want them to check out. So, if it makes you feel any better, just remember that at least the people who are rude on these in regards to BlackPink, for example, are talking about them. Those other groups are straight up dismissed by the haters.
The recommendations, however... yeah, that IS the whole point of reaction videos. Honestly, you are putting yourself on the same level as the haters if you think that this video is just for the fans of the group currently being explored... I mean, do you expect this reactor to only watch a single group? I know many K-pop fans who, deep down, would say yes. Which is ridiculous. And very sad for the reactor. Because it's not the haters a group has that become problematic for the reactors, it's the fans. (Aame goes for Idols, actually. The fans are much worse than the haters. Non fans aren't the ones stalking them, getting them canceled for having a relationship, or calling themselves fans when they ate actually critic's who expect more than any paid critic ever has.)
Nope, it's the fans. Even on these reaction channels. I know of several fandoms that have a habit of demanding that the people who react to "their fave" not react to any other group that they consider to be anything close to a "competitor" in their eyes. Heck, I have seen them destroy channels and threaten them. It all started with things like "Other groups stans are trying to sway you from the group whose music was built your channel and gave you so many subscribers.... remember that." Just saying. 🖤

I have never tried so hard to get into a group as I did for Blackpink and I just. Can’t. Do it. They aren’t for me.
But I can recommend Itzy Wannabe if you want to spread out the love to girl groups. Mama moo is also popular. The ladies are A bit more mature. G-Idle goes pretty hard and they have my favorite girl kpop rapper. She’s got a great deep voice! Tom Boy is what got me into them. Nxde is their latest song (I think) and they kind of have a burlesque thing going.

While I don’t particularly care for XG group releases as a whole, the xypher the rappers released was crazy good. Respect to Mamamoo & their vocals. Plus, the lyrics & overall cohesiveness of the music from these groups is far superior to what YG manages to provide for BP.

Blackpink lyrics are very superficial. Heavy in AAVE. The beat is what attracts most. Other than that most just like them for their visuals but hey to each their own.
