We had a group of 18 that pretty fast dwinleded to a group of 12 and eventually 6 because the spawns of the actual raid was that bad.... Tbh it was a failure of an raid event on that front.
Get mobile and coordinate raids thru campfire. No excuses out here boy. Me and the homie did around 40 raids this weekend. 2 purified hundos and 2 shinies.
I agree that most people aren't as lucky. Especially if you play in an area where not a lot of people play it. E.g UK is much less active than somewhere like HK. However letting it able to be remote raided will be abused by p2w. I think that letting the first shadow legendary be able to be remote raided is a better solution. A, collectors are happy. B, ppl in remote areas are happy. (If some in niantic reads this please implement it.)

Try campfire. I literally have the same problem but campfire has host that set up meet ups around your city. & if that works, come out to Antioch, California. I’ll raid with you. Lol

Up to you as both shadow and non shadow are good in Master league however the non shadow does do a bit better and as far as a raid attacker, it is really only thr apex shadow lugia that is worth keeping for that otherwise it is up to you. It wouldn't be a bad choice if you choose to keep a Shadow, or choose to purify for a Shundo tomale the most use of in Master league

I absolutely agree. I drove around a college in Houston and joined about 15 other people from campfire. Hit up about 30 raids and I can honestly say it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with POGO. If I could punch that bird in the face, I would have 😂 Everyone with me got high three stars and a shiny but all I got was mid af one to two stars. Couldn’t believe it. And I drove and had to pay for gas! Ripppp
I also caught nearly the lowest possible IV Shadow M2 during that past event, it was a (6, 7, 6) or something like that, personally if prefer if i had caught a (14, 15, 14) or a hundo or anything close for S m2, Guess i cant complain too much as i caught one shiny S m2, and also caught two XXS Shadow M2 which look really cool seeing a XXS Shad M2

Just so you know: 5-6 people with at least two of them working with the Party Power Boost works comfortably too when going up against Shadow Lugia. (Though, when commenting this, Shadow Lugia Raid weekend will be over. (Don’t sleep on the Party Power Boost! I was able to duo a 3 star Shadow Raid with this addition to the game!))
its not really hard to take it down with 3 people, i only did a few & got a shadow shiny on the 2nd day... as long as you have shadow hundo pokemon like rock types you will be okay

Shiny Shad Entei w/ it's silver mask/crown piece on its face is also a Suttle but nice shiny, similar to how shiny Umbreon is.
As it has a higher dps, tdo and ER value than Mega Manetric as an electric attacker so to see a Shadow not only have the obvious higher DPS than a Mega, but also TDO and ER as well?, that speaks alot as to how powerful that mon is

I had the same problem, try throwing right when he’s about to finish his back flip and turning on ar helps with throwing the ball further
I learnt to wait till after an attack if it doesn’t go into another right away throw the ball like a 1 second window

i did 20 raids for shadow lugia, first one was a shiny but with bad IV and rest werent shiny nor 100%, best one ive got was 92% i think
there's no 92 in game. Only 91, 93, 96, 98, 100

Don't forget that when you spam the gem button your pokemon attacks, for the pokemon to be subdued faster you shouldn't attack
