When you use the purified gems, you have to wait before attacking the boss, otherwise the gem will not be used, just stop taping on the screen.
You can tell how nervous Brandon is when the mewtwo breaks out of the pokiball multiple times 😂
I know that the Niantic choice of local raid has been controversial. However, I have never seen so many groups of people in my city, running, shouting and chatting TOGETHER to take down this crazy legendary. I for one agree to this change… at least 60% agree
Still the most unfair thing niantic can do there mugging us off with the remote passes now there making it harder for people play with no community im hating the decisions niantic are making atm

Niantic literally giving more reasons to spoof
On my third raid I got a fricking shadow hundo mewtu! Still can’t believe it, got no shiny though yet, but I actually don’t really care anymore! 😂
“ Force people out” being the take away from this
the elite raids were a test by Niantic to see player appetite for local raids. since they saw enough promising data, they are releasing these kinds of raids.
In my town, we are usually only 15-30 people meeting up on Wednesdays at raid hour, depending on the raid boss and the weather. Today we started out at 10 am with at least four groups with around 20 raiders each and, after we had split up in mostly team-based groups, we met plenty other groups throughout the day just out playing together in the fantastic weather. I never thought I'd see this many people out playing in my town again. It's been years, before I started playing, so I'm pleasantly surprised with the results of Niantic's recent decisions.

was such an exciting first day of Mewtwo raids for me, I carpooled 6 people around to do raids it was epic. I ended the day with having done 22 Mewtwo raids!!!
I pity everyone who isn’t in New york. I went to the city this morning and every single shadow mewtwo raid had a constant full 20 stack at all times. Got 6 shadow mewtwos and will be going for the shiny tomorrow
Regardless of the recent changes that force players hands, i must say today was the most fun ive had playing since johto tour. Irl events are the way, as long as youre safe about it. Met a lot of new people today & it was excellent
i found 0 people on campfire to do those mewtwo raids, what a nice game!
I had a great time going outside today! Met a huge part of the community.
