My mom came in to talk to me while I was watching your video. She stopped talking started smiling and watching. She said, "She has such pretty eyes, pretty skin. She is such a beautiful girl. And I love her thick hair." She then stood their smiling at you for the remainder of the video. I watched her and it made my heart happy to see how much she was enjoying your beauty. I easily give out compliments in real life and not just behind the keyboard. I think I get it from this wonderful lady I call my mom. So sis stay beautiful and keep doing what you do. And let us forever empower and encourage each other. May God continue to bless you and those that read this comment. 🙏🥰
I'm in your same situation. I tried the first month of the lockdown. Girrrrrrrl when I tell you... I looked like Coolio, not lying 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤣🤣🤣😫😫😫
It's really cute. I like the side part. When you said, while putting the gel on the roots, "We don't want that, we dont' need that. I cracked up. And when you almost fell and said ,'Y'all still there. Lol. Love you sis:)
So cuuute! I do similar ones and they can last a month with retwisting and no extra heat. I don't use rubber bands or have straight parts (so pretty how you did it!! I will try!) I rope twist or braid for 2-3 turns to keep the base tight and then loose twist. A couple of times a month, I take each down to lightly moisturize one by one, bantu knot to dry for a min or 2, then separate/fluff and retwist. For styling, after the first week I keep them pulled back in a banana clip (horizontal), section the pony in 2, loosely twist each of the 2 sections, and tuck each twist under the opposite side of the banana clip so that the twists cross each other in the middle. It looks like a huge intricate bun, keeps my hair STRETCHED, and ends away. Love your vids!
Gorgeous!!! Middle part is my preference, but the side part works. I’m wearing jumbo box braids with my brand of added deep wave strands. What a wonderful journey you’re on💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
You did the damn thang girl!!! When you pulled it the mirror for the part I was like YES!! Do it for all of us who can’t part. It was like one small step for woman and one large step for women kind lol. I could feel your excitement which made me excited. I liked them up, to the side and in the middle. I think this is my favorite style of yours this year so far. I am definitely going to try when my hair gets a little longer
hey sis!! looks awesome! rubber bands scare me lol i just smooth each section at the root with a little edge control (curls edge control) and i braid the root then twist and it still comes out neat😁
We’re going back to childhood. I wore this 3rd grade. It is still cu ute 🤩 Just add a little grease and some pink oil and you’ll be straight. We use to keep our hair in braids and twist until we got grown. Then we wore it down and it all came out😏. Going back to basics🥰
Wow omg you look so good!! I’m a black girl and I love styles like this too still and I’m 20. Didn’t have the chance growing up I had so many hair issues but now I know and have that strong connection . I love to see natural style representation 🥺💕
I posted an update of how it looks after 5 days in my TH-cam stories. It’s still there. I haven’t been doing anything besides putting a bonnet on at night
Hi Lexi, I am loving how did your beautiful hair in the loose twist. You hair looks absolute stunning. At the moment I have my hair braided up my hair in extensions, I have a middle parting. ❤
I’ve been wanting to try this style but i wanted my hair to get a lil longer first...I’m commenting before I’ve seen the end results but I’m sure it’s gonna be bomb! 😍
i do mine a LOT smaller than this but this style is lit. I do mine really small, like smaller than a straw...i twist the base tight then do a loose twist til i get to the last inch or so...and then once done i mist my hair with aloe vera, shea butter and gel to twist my ends...it lasts at least a week...workout friendly. ive never been satisfied with twist outs and this gives the vibe but lasts wayyyy longer and way more forgiving.
hi lexi 🤗 really like this style on you 😊👍😊 it takes extra time, but the results are worth it. i almost always style on wet hair, but i may try something similar to this on dry hair. tfs 😁
This is super cool, and I wish I had the patience to do this style! I have mad thick nearly bsl hair, as my hair gets longer / more volume , my patience has withered. Lol 😝
I wanna try this so bad but my medium density fine hair does not look this lush. I wear wash n gos. But it’s super cute and I love it! 🥰😍. Your hair is fly af!
This came out really well!!!! I like the side part best. I can’t do this without weave though, because I don’t have thick enough hair. I’d be on the struggle bus if I just used mine. 😂😂😂
@@KandidKinks Thank you for replying! I have gotten so many wonderful tips from you about my 4C hair! Your videos are always so honest and informative and your face is always glowing! Keep up the great work, lady!
Heyyyy! How are you wearing your hair rn? I'm in love with this style lol let me know if you try it!
Hey. Im in protective style mode so I’m wearing Bantu knots and mini twists! Your hair is so healthy and gorgeous!
my hair is in a frow like no other!
In a protective style because college work is coming for my NECK
Am wearing some faux twists...wrap a piece of thread (but spaced) to give that twisted look ☺
I’m rocking a fro! Side part action twists look amazing.

I'm seeing this 3 years later and God bless you for being such a bright light in this dark world.
The way my fine strands and medium density are set up this would have me looking real sparse headed 😂 looks cute on you though.
Girl, same.
My hair is not very dense, but I actually like that chunkier twists give it more volume. I don’t tie the roots though.
I'm in your same situation. I tried the first month of the lockdown. Girrrrrrrl when I tell you... I looked like Coolio, not lying 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤣🤣🤣😫😫😫
😂😂😂 @coolio
Lol same here
I comment this all the time but you are so stunning 🤩,you're hair is so beautiful 😍
Thank you so much
Cute girl!! I’ve been seeing people do this lately so I want to try too! Hopefully I don’t look like my first day of kindergarten 🥴😂
I was thinking this style takes some years off your life 😭
Girl, not kindergarten? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
It's really cute. I like the side part. When you said, while putting the gel on the roots, "We don't want that, we dont' need that. I cracked up. And when you almost fell and said ,'Y'all still there. Lol. Love you sis:)
😂😂😂
Waitttttt. Sis this is BOMB
Thanks girl 🤗🤗🤗
Skin/complexion is beautiful ☀️
Omg you’re stunning! You’re glowing and your hair looks so healthy, so beautiful! 💕
the middle part was perfect ❤️ I might try this style but that parting take forever😭
I hate parting my hair
Get one of those metallic rat tail combs. I'm missing mine and nothing does a better job.
So cute Lexi! I liked the middle part and I’m not even a middle part girl!
Yassssssssss I’m happy you went with the twists! We are a twist family over here lol the results were bomb sis
You have a really pretty smile. The hair looks great. I do chunky twist from time to time. Much quicker than mini twist.
Her voice is so soothing 💫
Love this style so much!! Also you could totally rock that centre part - a hairstyle's always good when you can rock it both ways!

I love your vibe with you videos:
cool but positive!
Love the 🎵
Before you even started your hair looks outstanding❤️
It looks real good! I like the side part.
Gorgeous!!!
Middle part is my preference, but the side part works. I’m wearing jumbo box braids with my brand of added deep wave strands.
What a wonderful journey you’re on💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
This is so beautiful on your blown out hair! Thanks for the idea!!!!
LEXI YOU HAVE INSPIRED ME YET AGAIN..
TO *NOT* GIVE UP ON MY HAIR!!!
YOUR TWISTS ARE MY DREAM TWISTS
😍😍😍👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Great Job!! 😁😁😁
Thanks love !
A. Your skin is glowing!!!!! 😍
B. This style is really cute. I think I'll try it out after my hair rests from this current protective style.
Look so pretty great job dear ♥️

Lmaooo yesss thank you
hey sis!! looks awesome! rubber bands scare me lol i just smooth each section at the root with a little edge control (curls edge control) and i braid the root then twist and it still comes out neat😁
That’s a good idea!
I agree with you as rubberbands just breaks my hair, i just cant
Super cute 😍😍😍✨ loving the side part!! Definitely going to my hair playlist 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
Thanks boo
I loved the middle part. Hairstyle is simply gorgeous!!😍😘💕
I did this style, but used perm rods on the ends so they’re curly.

As you should be feeling yourself! Beautiful!
Thank you for this vidéo ❤️😊please can you show how to keep this style during à week because my hair frizz so fast
I posted an update of how it looks after 5 days in my TH-cam stories. It’s still there. I haven’t been doing anything besides putting a bonnet on at night
@@KandidKinks thank you❤️
Okay, come thru chunky twists. I love it!
Your personality matches your hair..so beautiful. Keep doing you sis..✌
Very cute style! My vote is for the middle part.
So cute! Love the side part on you

I just love how happy she is about her hair😍made me smile came out bomb sis💪🏾
Thank youuuuu
They look amazing 🤩
Yazzzzzz the progress is real trust in yourself
Hi Lexi, I am loving how did your beautiful hair in the loose twist. You hair looks absolute stunning. At the moment I have my hair braided up my hair in extensions, I have a middle parting. ❤
I really like that style...of course you have the thickness and shine to pull it off!
People with finer hair should try loose twist. It makes your hair appear fuller.
Your voice is so calm...great video
Whew chile!! We still here sis.. glad you didn't fall over😂😂😂❤
Lmaoooo me too! 😭😭😭
Very cute ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That is really cute! Great job!
I love side parts in particular styles but this one the middle part giving me "cool" vibes! It is nice both ways regardless!
I’m wearing box braids but this style is lovely. Side part!!!!!
I have never tried this but then again I don't own gel but thanks for the information may try next time.
Looking at you I want to continue with my natural hair. You gave me confidence 🙏🏻
Absolutely love it and going to try it now
I l💗ve this style. Very simple and cute at the same time. You look amazing. 👍🏿💗💗
UK🇬🇧
Thankssss
Hi dear it was so much fun to watch you.,,you are just too much..,and I say this in a nice way 😊😊😊😊
I’ve been wanting to try this style but i wanted my hair to get a lil longer first...I’m commenting before I’ve seen the end results but I’m sure it’s gonna be bomb! 😍
I love these but I’m tender headed! The rubber bands would kill me but it’s sooooo pretty!
Somebody in the comments just suggested braiding the roots instead of rubber bands.. that might work for you
I stay away from rubberbands, hair too fine for all that tension
Gorgeous I like side part best! 😀👍
I loooooooovvveee this look!! Yes sis!
This style came out so cute😍 I definitely have to try it!🙌🏾
try clear plastic bands too, they are smooth and you may not have to use oil to soak them.
You and your hair are so gorgeous. lovely hairstyle!
I love loose twists! I’m definitely trying this method next time I do a blow out 😍
You’re gorgeous btw 🥰
This is so cute and youthful! My hair is not long enough to do this yet, but I'm keeping it on my list.
i do mine a LOT smaller than this but this style is lit.
LOVE ITT! your hair is beautiful ❤️
When I do my trim at the end of the month I’m gonna try this style out. Super cute!!
To everyone that shall read this comment, GOD BLESS!❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾😃😃❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amen, and God Bless you too:)
Wow
This looks gorgeous
I love your energy! Sending love your way.
Love the look, yes different for you. Super cute! I like the middle part too.
SAVED FOR SURE ...FOR WHEN MY HAIR GETS LONGER 💕...so dang PRETTY!
Thank youuu
I’m curious to see how this wears over multiple days. Do the twists flatten out?
Will be posting updates on my stories on TH-cam and Instagram
Beautiful skin!!!
hi lexi 🤗 really like this style on you 😊👍😊
it takes extra time, but the results are worth it.
i almost always style on wet hair, but i may try something similar to this on dry hair. tfs 😁
Great results!!! How long did this last?
I really like this, my hair is too short to try it but you look great. Liked the middle part best.
This is super cool, and I wish I had the patience to do this style! I have mad thick nearly bsl hair, as my hair gets longer / more volume , my patience has withered. Lol 😝
OMG YOUR TEETH ARE PERFECT - How am I just noticing this?! Great vid as per usual.
I wanna try this so bad but my medium density fine hair does not look this lush. I wear wash n gos. But it’s super cute and I love it! 🥰😍. Your hair is fly af!
Love it .. especially since I always wear twists💜
Came back to watch this again.. I’m going to attempt
I actually really like this
girl I had to pause the video to let you know that you are soo pretty like talk about GLOWING
Thank you!
You look so good, love the style.
Your hair looks so amazing
I love your videos Lexi!!!
Also I'm feeling the middle part ♥️
It’s the length of the twists for me😍
Beautiful! I favor the middle part but both looks are becoming.
I love this look!
This came out really well!!!! I like the side part best. I can’t do this without weave though, because I don’t have thick enough hair. I’d be on the struggle bus if I just used mine. 😂😂😂
How do you tie up at night to keep the shape of the twist? My twist always becomes bent by the banding method...
This is how my mom used to do my hair everytime when I was a kid. The fact that I might try to do this is a full circle moment for me 😂
Super cute style, I feel you with the parts, lol.
This is lovely, love it
I hear an accent where are you from? Cute hair!
May I ask which rubber bands you use?! I keep buying mini ones and they keep breaking after I style my girls’ hair! Thank you!!
I honestly picked these up from the local beauty supply store. There wasn’t anything special about them
@@KandidKinks Thank you for replying! I have gotten so many wonderful tips from you about my 4C hair! Your videos are always so honest and informative and your face is always glowing! Keep up the great work, lady!
Nice style. I prefer the middle part.
You have beautiful skin and hair.
