I think whats slept on in VC's game is if you play the whole clip back again and watch how quick and the amount of ground his first step in a drive around a defender covers is just insane.... He just about only needs one full step from the 3 point line to be close enough for him to elevate and dunk with his rare 🐐 authority. Dunk 🐐 and there will never be another like him.

This game was supposed to be at Rucker Park that day but the game was played at Gauchos gym in the Bronx due to rain. I bet that gym was lite as fuck that day🌟🌟🏀🏀
Wow I remember this day like it was yesterday. We get to the park they say because of rain we going to the gauchos gym in the Bronx. Everybody start buying nutcrackers (Strong mixed drinks with Fresh juice)For those who never been to a Rucker game video can’t provide the full experience. The crowd critiques your every move while you have the ball and puts constant peer pressure on you to show out and will tell you about yourself when you don’t perform you will get laughed at hard 😂and heckled hard (TH-cam search safari Dycman park)Then the announcers are watching your every move to see if you deserve a nickname. That’s correct your nickname is not a given! it’s a earned privilege not everyone receives. Once you get that name your pretty much that name from life 😂 also the guy Vince was guarding dropped 25pts on Vince that game. His name was Adrian aka a butta aka a whole lotta game. Very few have two nicknames but after dropping 25 on Vince they gave him the name whole lotta game. He became a real celebrity in Harlem after this game. Adrian went on to do very well for himself I would see Adrian pull up in this convertible 545i BMW. Rucker park truly was a stimulus to the local economy
Apparently #3 giving Vince trouble was Adrian Walton. Google giving me mixed results on his streetball name - either Whole Lotta Game, A-Butta, or Hollywood
Vince is The Man! But this isn’t Rucker Park! Rucker Park is in Harlem and is outdoor basketball court. Thus the name Rucker Park. This video is at the Gaucho’s gym in The Bronx. Thanks for posting the video though.
Damn I remember playing on that court. Played some of the best competition I've ever ran against on that court. There and Riverside Park and I.S. #8 in Queens.
Hey Clutch this is Gauchos Gym and not Rucker park as your title suggest. I should know cause I played for the Gauchos back in my youth and remember running up and down this court and sometime with a large punching/kick bag on my shoulders for conditioning. Also I grew up in The Polo Grounds across from THE Rucker Park. But I guess I just could have said parks are outdoors and gyms are indoors
Yo i remember that like it was yesterday i was there i was like 15 yrs old at da time but yoooooooo that dunk tho was crazy shit was lit back than in 1999 word up
Vince could have been recognized as one of the greatest. One the same level as Kobe and Lebron. But he never really applied himself to the game. He is without a doubt one of the greatest athletes to play the game.
Pretty sure it is due to the fact that he wasn't playing with shaq. lol put McGrady or any other good two guard of that Era on the Lakers with shaq and they'd have three rings too. not sure if they'd get the other two to match kobe though.
The game just came to easy with him. He had more physical ability than Kobe but he didn't have the drive to be the best. Still one of the best shooting guards to play.
Shaq and Penny got swept in the finals, McGrady got Yao and had no rings. Vince and McGrady were nowhere close to Kobe talent wise. Vince got out done against Iverson and Mcgrady couldn't get out the first round.
Nah bruh. From a talent perspective Vince is better in my opnion. Kobe of course had more drive and determination to great. But shear talent, Vince could do it all and electrify in the air.
yo wistiti, can you find the amazing dunk Tracy magrady did at a high school game I think? it was one that he got blocked but still managed to windmill dunk it over the blocker...I never seen it, and hopefully you can shed light or video clip of it
