    Great score! That's some nice looking ash! I'm looking forward to the splitting video. My Grandfather used to say "firewood warms you 3 times. Once when you cut it, once when you split and stack, and once when you burn it. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

      Thanks man. This was really good ash. But ill give Joe credit he does get and makes some really good looking firewood. Lot better looking on average than the stuff I get. To be honest. But it all burns good and I have fun doing it

    Nice job falling that ash.
    I bet you couldn't have balanced that tree on that one limb if you would have tried. LOL!!
    Good job of getting it to come off the limb.

    You have a lot of firewood cutting years left Ben. I am 68 and still cutting. Although this year I bought a Dyna SC 12 processor and bought my first truckload of logs. I did cut them all to 10 foot lengths and ran them through the processor. Trying to stay in the game. Enjoying your videos. And by the way I start my chainsaws the same way you do. Never a problem.

    • @survivingcountrylife7069
      @survivingcountrylife7069  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats cool. I wish we had log trucks around here but there isn't much logging here. Unless its maybe big cottonwood trees for pallets or walnut trees.

    That is gonna make some nice firewood. People tell me to lift with my legs. I am 6'4" tall and it is hard for me to lift with my legs. It is just easier for me to bend over and pick things up off the ground.

    Great video as always.
    261 with an 18 inch bar fill chisel chain would be my choice and will be my next saw.
    I run a 462 with a 25&28, want a 32 also, MS271-18 inch bar and a ms180.
    My 180 and 462 gets ran more than my 271 and if I had a 261 the 180 and 271 wouldn't get ran that much.

  • @NotSureJoeBauers
    @NotSureJoeBauers 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I used a new MS362 and I liked it a lot. Only a few pounds heavier than the MS260 but considerable power. I had a MS250 and I used it for an in-tree climbing saw more than my 194T because it was so light but still powerful enough for bucking a 80' conifer down from 4" to 18" and stripping the limbs on the way up with a single tank. I wouldn't want the MS362 for that task. The MS250 was perfect
