This doesn’t usually work because alot of tires are directional now. Also, my 335i factory tire specs are bigger in the back and smaller in the front
Technically his 235i also has staggered tires but i guess he bought wheels that are the same all around lol
He did mention he had a squared set up😊
Uh majority of tyres are asymetric now, lesser non directional and directional is the rarest. But yes, staggard setup negates this.
335xi here, wish I had a square setup lol
@@nicolanikcevski5273yeah it’s staggered for a reason, homie should stay away from the track
Ppl commenting about staggered and directional tires. If your tires are directional you just rotate front to back. If they are staggered you rotate left to right. Obviously if they are staggered AND directional, you don’t rotate.
Thanks for sharing that!
Not only are alot directional but a lot of cars have staggered wheels
So if I understand correctly, you lifted up from the front center, put the front corners on jackstands, and then lifted the rear corners one at a time?
My 435xi GC has staggered fitment (rears are a bit wider), first time I’ve had a car like that so I’m a bit sad I can’t do the cross rotation like I’m used to with my other AWD cars
what kind of torque wrench are you using? Thanks! :)

Seems to be icon, was hoping it was Tekton!
If you have a staggered setup would switching sides help at all?
Only if you have non-directional tires. And ONLY from side to side, NOT front and back
On a bmw front and rear tyres are a different size
I only rotate my tires when I buy a new pair, still about every 6-8 months xD
damn you must have a lot of fun, i don’t know anyone who goes through 2 sets 🤣
@mismanagedfunds I end up popping them from driving, not skids.
Two weeks ago, I went through 5 damn tires, 3 sidewall punctures, and 2 non repairable tread gashes, damn Australian dirt roads are ruthless.
@@exogatorI wish you better luck and unpunctured tires 😭😆
Yep and now you have to folk out for the cost of four tyres in one go instead of doing two at a time.
What are those rims!!
Same would like to know. Possibly look like HRE
Why do people still think you need to rotate your tires?
Why is your wheels not staggered? I feel like you bought the wrong wheels …
