- In 2017, after years of worsening neurological symptoms probably caused by an untreated spinal injury, Nancy was diagnosed with cervical stenosis. She underwent a laminectomy on C3, C4, C5, C6 and C7, but the surgery resulted in Nancy waking up as a quadriplegic. Nancy's daughter and 2 month-old grandson helped her make the decision "with firm intention" to live, to heal, to learn to walk again. She listened to Dr Joe's audio books and TH-cam videos, over and over again, viewed the Progressive online workshop, and practiced the meditations daily. By the time she attended her first live event, in Portland, she was walking unassisted -- fully functional, and completely joyful.
Recorded at the Portland Advanced Week Long Retreat in July 2019, with additional video and photos provided by Nancy and her daughter Natalie.
Love to see my mom's story impacting the world along with Valentino, who came into this world as a babe to inspire and bring hope to my mom through her journey. She is a true warrior and someone that I look up to tremendously. Anyone can accomplish anything they dream of as long as they are willing to surrender to the divine within and create a new world from the inside, out.

I love this story as it reminds me of what we are truly supposed to be. Natalie, if you know, when your mom says she experienced an "explosion' on the treadmill 18:35, did she ever explain what that felt like at the moment? She says she felt the emotion of joy, but what did the body go through? Was it shaking, sweating, a vibration or something similar. Or maybe just the acknowledgment of that she was going to be alright? This testimonial is what I needed to hear. I will listen to it over and over, just like she did with Dr. Dispenzas books, audios, etc! I love this and blessings to her, you and your family!

I had the privilege of interviewing Nancy for her sit down testimonial at this workshop. I told her team leader “you gotta get this gal up on stage!” One thing that she didn’t mention on stage is that she said “I never had a huge spontaneous healing; i didn’t get out of my wheelchair and run down the street. I'm listening and watching this through tears. After a seven-year long struggle, my body has been diagnosed with dystonia, a movement disorder that also affects my breathing. I have been reading dr. Joe since December of last year. I too listen to supernatural through the night. I too have made a playlist of all of the testimonials and the retreat's and play them constantly. especially the Toronto one climbing down the building because I've had a fear of heights but I come down that building all the time and I'm free!!! I've made my own mind movies( multiple versions ) as my mind progresses, and vision boards... I had been doing vb since before dr. Joe, so was on the right track. ....but, Ive been concerned that because I'm unemployed due to this diagnosis taking so long and tapping out all my resources from Doctor bills hospital bills testing, and have lost everything that I'll never make it to a workshop.... first money and now waiting lists. But I've been telling myself just do the work keep learning, just do the work keep learning, and I feel like Nancy's testimonial is my confirmation that I'm doing the right things, and I still feel in my heart I will be at at least one event.. I literally feel myself sitting in the chair looking up at Dr Joe ....and I want to be a healer. Having gone to the Niagara Falls event in September, it was very confronting. I had been saying since my diagnosis that when I get to an event then.... well, I didn't get anything stunning, although I did see improvement one day, so it was like uhmm this isn't it. I'm still the same, in fact, I was quite cranky for half of it until I had a healing that relaxed my heart. So there I was, the great day, the great event was there, and I participated fully, and no real magic hit me. So, the event is 7 days, and you get you can meditate for a long time, but when it's over you're still you and might not have a big "miracle." So, regardless of whether you go to an event or not you still have to do the work right where you are, 7 days do not a life make. Aim for it, but you can heal right where you are, in fact, you have to because you can get to an event and not have any magic. Then what? You are back where you started, which is where you are now. You're in the perfect place to heal.

My friend Nancy was diagnosed with a terminal illness several years ago and she basically shrugged it off and left it in God's hands, never cared much, never mentions it. I think eventually they changed her diagnosis to something less lethal. She just keeps going!

Thank you for sharing this. I was labeled with MS in 2008 after I already had two surgeries and several injuries and infections. I knew something was not right and that Ms was just label but thank you for the information about the spinal cord because they tell me I have cervical problems and that's what's causing the arms to go numb.
