basically, he was infected with the curse of exe, and it basically ruined his life. this guy and knuckles were jusr walking around a mountain when an avalanche happened killing knuckle's, and since cursed was with him, tails and all of sonics friends blamed him for knuckles's death, removing themselves from his life, eggman and metal tried to help him, but eggman died unfortunately due to the curse of exe, i probably butchered this lore, but this is what i know, apologies if im wrong.
